The Tornado that was not to be.

  • @chronically.advocating

Ummm not a microburst. That is a tornado that's not fully condensed. There's a circulating lowering from the storm base, and ground circulation. There's an invisible funnel of rotating winds between those two.

The dust isn’t moving as if there was a funnel but moving in a singular direction.

people when they realize not all tornadoes have a completely visible condensation funnel: 🫂😬

I'm pretty sure the reason the clouds when down a little is cuz the downburst. It pulls the clouds down a little, and there is no circulation in the ground there.

    • @chronically.advocating

@@MissCircle20192 Nope there was circulation both at the storm base, and at ground level. That was a tornado it just didn't have a fully condensed funnel. The debris a tornado picks up only gets lofted so high it basically only makes up the bottom ⅓ to ½ of the tornado, and that's only if there's enough loose debris to make the air circulation visible. Otherwise the rest of the funnel is condensed water vapor (literally a cloud hence funnel cloud). This is why in the formation of dying stages you get a clear air separation as it's losing or forming it's condensation funnel. Look at how a multi-vortex tornado becomes a wedge tornado. That wedge circulation is already there once you see multiple vortices you can see it on the ground, but you can't see the wedge yet because it hasn't condensed so you see the sub-vortices until the rest of the circulation condenses. So yes this is a tornado just not fully visible yet.

This is why you're wondering theres dust on the surface: you see the Microburst has a winds of 120 mph the winds blowing from Up to surface is because the wind is Blowing the dust causing it to look like a rotation

There has to be rotation for that to happen

@@anasalado576 That's not the only Tornado that has hit Houston. There was the November 1992 Outbreak, as well as November 17, 2003. Fast forward to August 2017 when Harvey brought Tornadoes and Flooding all over Houston. That's just to name a few.

@@mikeyg.thecnanddisneyfan9069Actually Houston has had the most tornadoes of any county in Texas since the year 2000. Even surpassing Dallas and the panhandle/tornado alley area. They’re usually weak F0-F1’s but they have quite a few tornadoes in Harris county.
