yeah totally agree, straight beam front axle with king pins, a leaf spring at each corner, a bulletproof engine and driveline, i have an autotrail on a 208d with a turbo, still slow but will go to the moon and back.

Nearly done with our T1 S550 Hymer. Ours didn't have the rust issues but the engine was broke. I properly should put together a video with what i have done. Grate work :)

Good work there get rid of the rot now then it won't come back to haunt you later . I not sure weather it was on the 208 or 308 under the floor near the gearbox is a inline fuel filter I am not sure if it was just on mine or all of them but a Mercedes fitter pointed it out to me he gave me a new one and problem solved. There seems to be a massive following for these vans now .

Looking good dude I did the cab on mine few months back but haven’t touched the caravan on the back 😂 it’s all standard .got a bit of wood rot so starting that in the summer.. I would get rid of that 3 way fridge it’s useless on 12v draws about 8ah they work well on gas but at that age it’s a bit risky 🤔 keep up the videos will be interesting to see what lies ahead

Hello, to replace the parking brake lights, battery, etc., can they be replaced without removing the front panel?
