Do you have a delay in response to wheel spin right at the end section due to deflection in the twist of the pipe? Or does it all act like a rigid structure from the crawler to the ends?
There is a delay because of the twist of the pipe. Usually you have to move it past where you want it to get the ends in the right spot, then move it back to get the middle in the right spot.
