The drivers put on a good derby. The company that did the judging needs to stop there promotion. I watched this derby from there platform. They could not stop the derby with just red flags. They need red lights in all 4 corners to activate when needing to stop the derby. More seats where sold than available. Paying customers had to stand while the county people sat comfortably in there chairs in the back of there pick up trucks. The judging. Where hot tempered people. Making bad decision , pulling of sticks. Crowd control was out of hand. People were getting road rage in the crowd , causing hostility. The 4 sheriffs could not have handled this crowd if fist fights broke out. This derby was to start at 7:00 pm. It did not get underway till 8:30 to 9:00 pm. The kids show and lawn mower should be taken to some place else. This adult play game was awful. And the judges language at the announcer both is my witness to this statement. The derby is what I payed to see and it was fine. The judges and no crowd control no place to sit. No handicap facilities. Or nothing marked for handicap. Posey county fair boar needs to look at. Problems from and out side source. And not just think. This is the way we always have done it. If you are judging or keeping score. Do not let your attitude good or bad. Get in the way of your decision making. This is a dangerous sport. On a hot summer day. When tempers flair quickly. Just my opinion .
