I feel your pain, deep powder like that is a serious workout.

@@broncoformudv yup. Those sleds feel twice as heavy after a couple of stucks.

little tip from running 2019 600 etech superwide skandic on towerline patrols in deep snow, dont bother digging out the front end, get down there and kick as much snow under the track as you can since yuo are in a pocket with no base if you spun it i=out. then dig out a foot or 2 behind the rear and rock it back and forth a few times. 9 times out of 10 it will climb right out.

I work in the Powersports business and deal with a lot of people using the Expedition in the steep and deep here in Northern Canada… for what you are going at you are going to want the Lynx Brutal track upgrade for that kinda snow, or if your looking to get another sled, I’d go with either the Lynx Brutal RE or Expedition LE 600R SWT, I’d also look into equipping your sled with the winch kit they make for the BRP 20” or 24” wide sleds, then when you get stuck you hook onto a tree and away she goes.
The Lynx Brutal RE is a bit lighter then the Expedition without the high and low gear or articulating rear skid but generally not having those features don’t actually become an issue with the massive 2.4” lug.

@@t1resm0ke thanks. I’ll consider this next time. I do have other sleds I ride so there are options. I’m addicted to HP so I probably won’t get away from the turbo and most likely keep complaining. Lol. Honestly, overall I’m impressed with this sled.

@@GAPTRaXYeah for sure they are way more impressive in the steep and deep then people give them credit for, in the right configuration/track options, I solely use my 2021 850 Xtreme off trail and only really got stuck twice in over 2000KM I’ve put on it sense I’ve had it, but if I had to buy another wide track or SWT I’d never get another Xtreme just because there are better options now… the Brutal (20” wide) with either engine option (850 ETEC 900 Ace Turbo R) or the 24” wide Expeditions with the 900 Ace Turbo R or 600R are in a class of there own they are insanely hard to get stuck much like a 165 mountain sled and almost just as playful as well only difference is the Brutal is about 30IBS lighter then any other 20” OR 24” sled ever made.

@@deadpinecollective yup. Couple rivers and a highway away. We use the sleds so usually not too big of a deal, when we can go through it.

What the hell was that ? I go ice fishing every other weekend and have to break trail in snow that deep . 600 Indy Voyageur 144” x 2” towing a giant loaded magnum Otter setup . At least 450+ lbs . I was expecting you guys to make a good trail in somewhere and then decide to head back out lol 🤦‍♂️

You got snow and I sure hope you keep it. On pei we have just enough to cover the ground.

I definitely need some grader work but Canfor said no , even though they are working in the area.
