Totally agree about this being the best season of 24. It's so good I can forgive there only being 1 minute of David Palmer. Besides the first few episodes with Bill Buchannan where he's an awkward love interest for Michelle, he's a great character. And being that this is one of my favorite shows of all-time...this is one of my favorite seasons of any show ever.
the submarine scenes were filmed on USS Topeka, a Los Angeles class fast attack submarine. there were some scenes, however, that included areas of a submarine that don't exist
Best scene, Jack outrunning an exspolosion with the 24 theme playing also on rewatch the how kinda sets up the vice president like he could be the powerful person jack thinks Henderson is protecting
I love this season but I hate the key card slip up. That seemed so forced. Really? The most hard ass by the rules guy from division doesn't report his key card stolen? And how did he get back in the building without it? And the loser boyfriend just happened to have connections to the terrorists to hand it off to them? You gotta let some things slide in 24 but man that was a stretch.
HAHAHA same dilemma regarding Kim as well. Like why can't you be The Girl Next Door instead your this irritating hair pulling character LOL. I feel your pain but she had me livid when she straight up said all them things to Jack like after everything he's done for you. EVERYTHING HE'S DONE!! You blame him and essentially say he's dead to you because you want nothing to do with him. It was just flawed all around and it's like she didn't understand why he couldn't tell her he was still alive otherwise she'd be in danger. But of course she's dumb and can't comprehend this when Jack says this UGH SMH!! But anyways great review. Agreed on all your points. This season took it to a new level and no question it is the best season of the series. I love how this season they manage to sneak in Stana Katic and Henry Ian Cusick as well. They both were great. But I couldn't believe we lost those beloved characters. You really felt it. My favorite moment in this season had to be 9PM-10PM when Jack and Curtis track down Bierko to the gas distribution company. During the fire fight and Jack sliding on the floor shooting the enemy was so damn cool and Jack ended up incinerating the remaining sentox nerve gas and him running away from the exploding pipes and flames was just too good. But the ending of that episode was just perfect. Love that explosion after Jack and Bierko had that scuffle.
Amazing season so many sad moments and the whole sentox was do well done. It is interesting hiw they link in with later seasons. Also the twist with logan works great as his plan had a total 180 so everything we see of him was not expected so when we learn he is the bad guy it works. I would have liked to know who come up with the idea for the conspiracy and got logan involved. Alot of people felt Tony wasn't dead due to lack of silent clock

Rest easy, Gregory Itzin 1948-2022.
action scenes were well done too. Loved Mike Novick and Martha's friendship as well as Aaron Pierce willing to die instead of submitting to Charles
He had his Jack sack in day 4.
Also Kim does redeem herself in s7
8:13 Everything here is facts. The only times I liked her were in seasons 3 and 7. 😂😂😂
When that first aired I was so pissed president palmer Michelle dead and almost tony broke my little 24 heart
Agreed

This season has very angry dangerous jack it's very fun to watch
I miss Jack man 😫
"Mild" Spoilers. Lists all characters that died, and the ending. lol. But great review. I think it's every fan's favorite season.
wreck2 lmao I just couldn't bring myself to not mention them; it wouldn't feel right
I'm halfway into rewatching this season and I agree that this is the best season in the show. I just got to Edgar's death. :(
Me too. Gets me everytime
great job, man
Agree 100%
24 Season 5 the best season in 24
No doubt about it!
Edgar 😭. Why you call him a lameass 😳
You are not the audience I anticipated for this show 😅😅😅😅
The most overrated season IMO. It's good at best, not great
