You can clip them down when using from the beach and they work great at distance.
Just use a hook length of 25lb and above to cope with the cast.

Caught our first bass at the weekend...6 up to a pound and a quarter 😂...
My 4 Yr old helped me reel and fight them....Absolute heaven...
