I find it strange, that in this instance of vampires and werewolves he says that werewolves would hunt vampires, when in most folklore vampires would enslave werewolves and use them to hunt other vampires or humans, or in battle.
Argent has a refreshing take on that dynamic. I think it adds to the story's originality, it was so fun and felt so natural to play.

This is the first time I've heard this lore. Werewolves killing vampires is what I'm familiar with.
I've more heard of that before Bram Stroker's Dracula which changed many of our ideas on Vampires, Werewolves used to become Vampires when they died. Stroker even read books on werewolves and did research on them before writing the book

PS: I don't know why you need me to breath, it's not like me not breathing has any affect on your oxygen saturation.

I think "breathe" and "breathing" are my favorite words you say in these caretaker ones 🥰
Am I the only one that thought it was likely the listener would be human during the medical procedures. My thinking was that transformation is an active process that takes energy to maintain. After being mutilated by the hunter, the body is then diverting energy to keep the wounds from killing the listener. Thus they would have transformed back as the body would not be able to maintain the transformation and keep the listener from dying of their injuries. I always thought of it as when the doc walks outside, he sees the listener as they're transforming back, which is why he doesn't pick them up right away. He has to allow the process to finish, hence why he knows they're a werewolf and not just a human that's been assaulted. I also thought that there would be some telltale signs that the listener is a werewolf whilst in human form, like the teeth. Just a random thought. Brilliant audio as usual, cant wait for more from you x
Thats a really creative way to put it. I thought the listener would be human through it all but not for those reasons.
I was just thinking the doc would be able to smell the difference. I also thought maybe they were in human form because just like when u could see the moon in the day maybe it set before the sun came up and that's how they went to the doc
Having listened to this series in full, the bit about Chancelor (the marshmallow husky) feels like foreshadowing lool 😭❤️

+ "by argent" sounds so ironically. argent in latin is "agrentum" and agrentum means silver. silver is deadly to werewolves.

This was great. Only complaint was the door and bell sounds. Very loud in comparison to your voice. But great character and acting as I've come to expect. Well done Sir.

Argent, amazing script! And Ed, so well done. Another I’ll be listening to many times!
If reading a script was like driving a car, Argent wrote a luxury model. Everything was flush and full, easy to pace out and understand where I was going to next in each sentence. There was a part where I began to ad lib because I felt something needed to be said to feel like me only to find that exact point as the next line.
I plan on saying as such to them in an email. But Well done Argent.

Ok so I'm completely new to this channel, and I gotta say, I freaking love this series so very much! I've listened to all the parts and I can't get enough of this. Not sure if this series is gonna wrap up soon or not but I thought of an idea for this, more so a fluff side story if anything. I love the idea of Vamp Doc being a pediatrician and taking care of sick or injured children, is there by any chance or at some point could maybe Vamp and Werewolf listen maybe find like a lost child? Maybe take care of them and help them find there parents? (Maybe even have them be an ophran and Vamp and wolf adopt them?) Idk I just have this idea in my mind and would love to see it. But of course that would be up to Argent. Anyways live this series and if it hasn't already ended I would love to hear more! ♥️

I think Markus is subtly and playfully dealing with the listener being out of it. Either that, or the listener didn't know where Markus worked.

i feel like the listener would definitely know where he worked if he’d treated them before; not to mention they likely sought him out specifically for supernaturally-inclined treatment

That's one of the few things Argent didn't really delve into in their scripts: how the listener and the Doctor met.
About all I've gathered is that they met when the doctor, Markus, moved into town and started the clinic. From the listeners reluctance, I'm going to guess that they didn't exactly like Markus at first.
That's about all I have on it. Maybe Argent will give us more backstory sometime.

Argent has not flat out stated, but I'm going to guess that werewolves can only speak a little in wolf form at best. However, it seems that they understand others just fine.
