I think we can say about lack of vehicles on Russian side when we don't see t80 on the battlefield as those aren't in production any longer to my knowledge. It would suggest russian went through reserves and now having only to rely on current production.
The average daily loss figures are misleading as they represent stats from 2 yrs ago. I'd be curious to see a comparison of daily loss averages per year or 6 months period. I remember when 600 casualties was a huge number. That's about half of what we've seen in the last 6 months or so.
Yes, but when those numbers were around 500, the Muscovites had ~200,000 troops on the line. Now they have ~550,000 troops on the front line and 1100 daily losses is a lower percent of losses.
have you heard about this: Military News claimed on X that the whole complex of S500 worth $600 million was destroyed in the attack, as did NOELREPORTS citing a claim by Ukraine’s TIVAZ artillery formation.
The Muscovites committed a regiment (all they have built) to Crimea. A Regiment has two battalion each composed of two batteries. Ukraine has taken out a battery, one fourth of what was sent.
When the artillery is on defensive, they have pre-calculated fire points. Can't remember the actual term in English, but basically the drone operator would rely the information like "Enemy convoy A1 in 30 seconds" or something like that, and the artillery guys would have the exact coordinates for this "A1". Also there are some kind of laser targeting functions that give you exact coordinates and speed of movement and systems that can autonomously do the calculations and only require a human to "pull the trigger", because afaik we don't yet let machines make the decision to take a life.
I am not worried too much about the uptick in Ukrainian vehicle loses. They are on the offensive in several areas. The loss of western equipment also shows they may be getting over the "crown jewels" syndrome they had being afraid to use them. There are literally 1000's of Bradleys in the US. So long as the crew is OK its not a big loss.
@@JohnCSmith-lp1qr Your spelling of Kyiv gives you away troll. How does it feel having to justify the Russian armies pathetic performance every day? You understand that western forces would screw you within a week right?

Hi Jonathan, I noticed that in your explanation of how Ukrainian drone operators assist artillery targeting, it may have inadvertently portrayed the process as more analog and less sophisticated than it actually is. Let me clarify how the Ukrainian system really works and compare it to how the Russians might still operate. How You Described It: You mentioned that Ukrainian drone operators track targets and predict their future positions, relaying information to artillery units to adjust their aim. This involves calculating where the target will be in 30 seconds, then coordinating artillery fire to hit that predicted location. While this method can be effective, it relies heavily on manual adjustments and has a higher potential for error due to time differences, weather conditions, and shell quality. How It Actually Works: The Ukrainian drone-assisted artillery targeting system is far more modern and reliable: Real-Time Targeting: Drone operators use a button to mark targets directly. When they press the button, the system displays a lightbulb in the middle of the screen, confirming that the targeting location has been sent. Automated Adjustments: The computer receives these coordinates and continuously updates the shooting solution based on real-time data, including the target's speed, direction, and environmental factors. High Precision: This method ensures highly accurate targeting, with constant updates until the round is fired, minimizing the influence of timing differences, weather conditions, and shell quality. Comparison with Russian Methods: Russian artillery tactics often rely on more traditional methods, which can be less precise. They might use similar analog techniques, requiring a higher volume of shells (around 10 to 1) to hit a target due to less accurate predictions and adjustments. This old-fashioned approach contrasts sharply with the modern, concert-like coordination seen in Ukraine's use of drones and advanced targeting systems. Modern Warfare: The Ukrainian system represents a significant leap forward in artillery targeting technology. It’s not a newly found street band improvising on the fly, but rather a well-coordinated concert where every element works in harmony for precise and effective results. In summary, Ukraine’s modern approach to artillery targeting, leveraging advanced drone technology and real-time data integration, offers a much more reliable and direct method than traditional techniques, highlighting the contrast between their innovative methods and the more dated strategies that might still be in use by Russian forces. Best regards,
