Criminals get attacked every day in prison and receive no protection from the guards. Ex-police are no different. This should have been explained to them in their POST training

In my youth I did serious time in prison. I didn't get any special treatment! My life was on the line quite a few times. To survive I had to fight prisoners and guards alike. Like I was told in the beginning, "You did the crime, you do the time". The same should go for convicted cops! They're criminals like the others, let them do their time in the same prisons with no special treatments!!! Watch how fast the Government crime rates drop if cops were put into the same prisons as any other criminal!

Ok let’s be thinking grown ups here. Every single prison has a pc yard or a special needs yard . Cops are not the only ones in pc..snitches , chomos etc . A warden puts them in these units to keep order at the jail .

There was a situation where someone was hiding inside the house. Well I ran out and called police, and when they caught up with me on scene they didn’t care about what I was saying just worried about what they could get on me. He asked was I high on something. I was honest and said no but I had done something earlier in the day. So they took me to jail on public intoxication, and even the magistrate wouldn’t listen to me. But it’s cool in the end we put him in his place yesterday. And you know all this will be on my other channel eventually but for now I’ll just tell you I am currently in impatient treatment facility. 4 month program.
The police should have no privileges over other prisoners, do they have a higher possibility of being harmed ? yes . Did they know above & beyond that they were breaking the law/ yes. Did they depend on their status as a police officer to shield them from the law / yes. Do they deserve special protections ?No.
Any Dept of Corrections has a responsibility for the safety of inmates. I understand the impulse to throw 'em to the wolves. But that's not what a civilized society should be about.
If a cop ended up jail, it means they did something. So bad that their own white colleagues find it difficult to free them. They should be with citizens of their community. Only jail just can make a cop regret their misconduct.
