So they decide they require special treatment.

@@sheldonwqmg big money. They make a lot of money hustling. In state prison a sleeve(tattoo) one arm might cost 300$, but in feds, you might charge 3000$
@@prisonawarenessnetwork I’m not sure how that relates to a question about prisons being soft or hard but whatever. I wouldn’t pay $1 for a tattoo no matter where it came from. I’m willing to hear and an answer about the topic tho (soft vs hard). Take care.
@@sheldonwqmgplenty of reasons, if you get the snitch..makes it easier for them to cop a plea, they also tend to look the other way and have 'camera' malfunctions when someone is in need of a lesson on why we don't commit certain atrocities, if it's such a soft place to be please go spend a week in there and see how well you hold up.

No, police officers should not get any special treatment in prison. Police officers have gotten special treatment too long they have gotten away with too much. Police officers tell everyone else if you do the crime you should do the time, as should they😊

They should get the same treatment as everyone else. I'm sure the other prisoners will treat them as fairly and with the same respect as the police showed them on the outside.

Nah they don't. They are instructed to lay low and keep their identities to their self. The ones that do stay until it becomes a problem. The ones that don't generally catch a beat down and are transferred to a hospital, morgue or another institution.
While incarcerated and for purposes of personal safety, former officers should NOT be subjected to, "general pop," in any medium-security state prison.
We owe every prisoner that much.

"No...!" Officer should be given special treatment when they've committed a criminal offense, acting under the Color of Law. The Circuit courts in several Districts have eliminated "Qualified Immunity" for Constitutional and Criminal violations, against U.S. Citizens.

Criminals get attacked every day in prison and receive no protection from the guards. Ex-police are no different. This should have been explained to them in their POST training

Ok let’s be thinking grown ups here. Every single prison has a pc yard or a special needs yard . Cops are not the only ones in pc..snitches , chomos etc . A warden puts them in these units to keep order at the jail .

@@matthewdonovan1901 yea true. And it feels so good when you can catch them. I just went to court yesterday where this cop did some b/s and thought just because he’s a cop it’s on us. But I didn’t even have a lawyer and the judge dismissed the charges.
There was a situation where someone was hiding inside the house. Well I ran out and called police, and when they caught up with me on scene they didn’t care about what I was saying just worried about what they could get on me. He asked was I high on something. I was honest and said no but I had done something earlier in the day. So they took me to jail on public intoxication, and even the magistrate wouldn’t listen to me. But it’s cool in the end we put him in his place yesterday. And you know all this will be on my other channel eventually but for now I’ll just tell you I am currently in impatient treatment facility. 4 month program.

If a cop ended up jail, it means they did something. So bad that their own white colleagues find it difficult to free them. They should be with citizens of their community. Only jail just can make a cop regret their misconduct.

Any Dept of Corrections has a responsibility for the safety of inmates. I understand the impulse to throw 'em to the wolves. But that's not what a civilized society should be about.
When we enter we sign papers that says they cannot guarantee our safety but they must ensure us safety from them
