Only good thing from that game was controlling another player in MyCareer, shot aiming, and changing the dribbles to stick skills rather than a single flick for an animation
tier list really shows that doesn't matter how good the graphics are people just want to have fun playing the game both 21 and 20 are two of the better graphic ones being newer and are garbage

2k14 was just waaaay ahead of its time. Felt like you were actually playing and each character played differently. Smooth offensive mechanics and defense had a fair shot too.
2K19 is S tier and I'll die on that hill

2k16 will forever be my favourite. I literally never got the ball playing park but it was so much fun. Getting into basketball in my first few years of high school this game is pure nostalgia
2K15 before the Demi God glitch was damn near flawless imo. That was my gap year before I went to college and I spent way too much damn time playing that game.

I’d definitely agree that 20s gameplay was not good. But playing it during the pandemic was some of the most fun I’ve had on any game ever.
2k3 was my first 2k as a kid. I’ve played 2K3, 2K10, 2K12, 2k16, 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23 coming up.
2k3 was my very first 2k also. 10 11 12 and 13 are my favorites though.
2k20 has always been my favorite cuz I actually tried in mycareer. I played the shit out of the game.

08 to 13 were my favourites. I’m not sure if they’re the best but they will always be very special to me.
08 is where I jumped from live to 2k and I’ve never looked back.
I think the best are 11, 16 and maybe 19.
I played 21 on last gen and didn’t like it at all, but I’m really enjoying 22 on new gen, I hope 23 is good.

2k20 next gen was really fun to me. To me it's the last of an era, they moved to city instead of park afterwards.

I play on ps4 and 2k22 is genuienly mid. The ridiculous blocks you can get are genuinely crazy. If you don't dunk its going to get swatted

I didn't like 2k11 as much because of the shooting but everything else was about the game was S-tier. Also, 2k12 was my favorite 2K game because I played the hell out of the MyCareer that year.

2k22 current gen is one of the smoothest sports games I’ve ever played. Best shot meter in the entire series too.

FINALLY! Someone who does not praise 2K17 with rose-tinted nostalgia glasses. That game was not good. It was mediocre at best. The most overrated 2k of all time. 2k19 was a lot better. However, I'd say 2k16 deserves S tier.
Edit: I think some of the people who are saying 21 is F tier probably have it on last gen. And I can attest to that. 2K21 last gen is 2K18 levels of trash.

2k16 was my fav 2k11 and 2k13 I also played a lot but surprisingly 2k21 was my most played I beat myteam went 12-0 and got the invisible Ray Allen I had the best team on Myteam I spent like 8 hours making my custom jersey for my MyTeam in 2k21 that game was good idc what anybody says at least MyTeam and I played a lil park that year

My list:
2K11, 2k13, 2k16, and 2k17 are S tier.
2k12, and 15 are A tier.
2k10 and 2k14 is B tier.
2k18 thru 23 i didn’t play but 2k18 didn’t entice me to play it at all. It would be F tier. Maybe same with 19. I liked the ones that let you go to college so those would be up higher on my list.
