Placing Daily Bugle & Superhero Battles! LEGO City Update

- My double-sized Daily Bugle is now placed in the LEGO city! However, it wasn't that easy for me because I had to redo the entire base floor. What the heck lol. After it was placed it was time to move on to storytelling with superhero figures! Yessss... my favorite!

Love the Bugle and what you did. I think it would be cool if you added flags of countries to the building on the white flag pole pieces. Being a news outlet it makes sense.

Looks great in the city, before it looked kind of weird since it was small, and the avengers tower is big, but now it looks better than ever keep it up

I love the length of the alley. Growing up in a metropolis, I know the alley would run the entire block because we would take them for shortcuts. The street is amazing.
Could add some colourful flags to the front of the Daily Bugle just to make it a touch more interesting… also, maybe a couple more ac units on the back? Give a home to some more birds!
Well we all make mistakes. But the fun part is fixing them and improving
I’d say use the extra sticker and just put a billboard as advertisement somewhere else in the city away from the bugle
The city looks great man! I wish my audience would follow me from doing travel channel to building a Lego City, it's kind of my dream too! haha
I gotta say Bricksie I am amazed at your Daily Bugle expansion, and you have encouraged me to consider doing the same, although, I would do things a bit differently, and that is the beauty of Lego, that not everyone does things quite the same, and we can all still enjoy it the same!
My only thing is that since I don't have many buildings and I am still at that stage of my building my city, this will have to be down the line for me i'm afraid as I need to get a bunch more buildings first to have that diversity in my city. Although now that I see how your DB is as wide as it is, it makes me consider using the frame work possibly for a modern day Hospital building, or at the very least, a wing of the Hospital i'd like to build! As always, Bricksie, you are an encouragement to my own mind, and I thank you for it!

I expanded my DB too but not with two whole sets. I just ordered more window pieces and an extra sticker sheet. I used the extra Daily Bugle stickers from this set and the original set (76005) to make a newspaper delivery van and a news van. I also built a Punisher Van in dark blue to match the one he has in the comics.
I now see why DB is across the Avengers Tower, so it can get the most early scoops from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
I just see one little flaw, Spider-Man is fighting and Peter Parker is recording it. Ummm I hate to say it but unless it's the Japanese Spider-Man, Peter Parker is Spider-Man.
if you add more of those buildings in the background of the city you could put the big tv screen on it. it would make it look like another down town area is behind the city too

It would have killed me to have to move the building over due the fire escape issue. And knowing me, after doing it, I would have dropped it while moving it and had to build it all over again.....LOL

I think the Sanctum Santorum should have been pushed over to diagon alley and daily bugle could’ve been on the corner
You should put the Louis Lane minifig from the man of steel / batman vs superman sets taking pictures of the battle if you have her!
One more floor for the sanctum sanctorum would look more in scale. You should position peter parker throwing away a pizza into the dumpster

I think you should put the sewer infront of the building it would look better and much more like a real New York building

You know what I like in your city? Only here we can have Peter Parker taking a picture of several Spider Man variations at the same time, including himself, and have the back of Daily Bugle as part of Diagon Alley. Awesome job!

I love the new and improved Daily Bugle! You did an awesome job! I love all the scenes, battles and story telling that you did with all the mini figures! This building is definitely gonna stand out amongst all the others in the LEGO City. Have a good rest of your day my friend, enjoy the oilers game!

I kept quite a few of the figs out of my bugle scene since I only wanted to include ones from the Spiderman series that I grew up on so the only hero I used was Spiderman as well as black cat kind of as a secret helper of Spiderman in the battle against green Goblin, Venom, sandman and a few others. All unused figs went into my work in progress wax figure museum moc thatvis now nearly done.
I love how Gargantos is coming out of a portal right next to the Ghostbusters Firehouse and Diagon Alley is in the background. Looks great!

I love the idea of doubling the daily bugle but i have seen another one that is 6 windows wide rather than 8 and as much of a pain as it would be i think would look much better as currently it looks to wide in my opinion but it looks great either way 😀 👍.

7:05. Actually, I am going to disagree with your statement. In many larger cities, with NEWSPAPERS or TV STATIONS, they DO HAVE LARGE SCREENS OR BANNERS on 2, 3, or ALL 4 sides of buildings.
There is a rebricksble model for sanctum that fills alleyway and makes it taller and i can say it was definitely worth it. I posted some pictures on rebrickable if you were curious how it looks next to other buildings

If I wanted to do the same thing with combining two Daily Bugle sets, is there like a instruction page or vid of how you did the other floors?
No offense but I hate when I see cities and there marvel building are right next to each other. They just so happen to be right there and not spread out like how it probably would be in reality. The bugle is gonna get all the good stories just from looking out the window.
