Is that the factory black on the Z06 or wrap black?😍
When you swapped out the Low Spoiler for the High Wing what did you need to do with original holes and new holes needed for swap?

So I believe this wing is from factory with the Z07 package but as far as swap, Wrap Your Ride San Antonio on Instagram may have some answers on that front! Sadly I’m just the photographer so I don’t know much of the mechanics but I appreciate you watching the video and commenting that because I would love to know how it’s done too! In fact we may be doing a video on that exact process in the very near future so stay tuned!
I love the style and color of those wheels on the Z06. I am thinking of getting a similar set for my C8 Stingray that is on order but I will need to change the color and add the red stripe.
Oooh that sounds great! What did you think of the original stock C8 wheels? I seem to remember hearing a lot of people didn’t love them and swapped them out?
@@CarsPlz I like them but they mimic a 90s style Ferrari wheel. Kinda outdated look.

@@CarsPlz My car will be torch red. MRR makes a replica set and I might go with those in graphite or dark gray with a red stripe added.

That corvette Z06 was pretty nice, the matte black color combination was pretty smooth too, I have yet to see one on the road.
As with the C8 I’m sure we will eventually see more but man it seems like they are slow to roll out!
@@CarsPlz Only 180 or so being built per day and that is when the plant is not shut down (As it is this week) due to lack of parts.

That matte black is nasty!!!
And the fact that it is paint protection film too! So you have gloss black underneath when you choose to remove it, so it's two cars in one!
Crazy how a corvette now makes a lambo look small lol. Can't believe how huge the C8's are. And i have a C7 z06.

It is DYNOmatte film from STEK!

I would go with the STEK. Our techs tell me it’s a dream to install and doesn’t yellow like XPEL, and the end of the day they are incredibly similar films.
Yep, I’ve heard the same. I plan on getting STEK PPF when I get my Z06

Sad thing is that you can get a Lamborghini faster than a Z06 and sometimes cheaper considering the mark ups on corvettes
I’ve heard there are Z06s going for $300,000 or more sometimes, isn’t that crazy?
Local dealer putting 150k mark up on orders, not worth it to me

From what I understand they literally bought a Ferrari 458 to study so you're not wrong haha. Do you like the results though?
@@CarsPlz GM bought two 458s, chopped up the engines, and reverse engineered them. Corvette is a representation of what GM is supposed to be able to do as a brand. Instead of innovating, they copied. The newest supra falls into a similar category, its a BMW. GM built a Ferrari. I'm not impressed.
I have mixed feelings about this car.

@@CarsPlz the corvette. That is the best corvette to date but it’s still a corvette. I live in a Uber rich area where everyone is driving SVJ s , STO s, LP650 s , 812GTS s, and the occasional Bugatti or Pagani . Driving a corvette would be embarrassing in this town but I would still have so much fun in that car and that’s why I have mixed feelings.

I definitely hope the Z06 proves to be reliable haha, although thanks to the Germans the Huracans these days are quite resilient! (Let's hope the trend continues for ours...)
I love the content. The comment on reliability was tongue and cheek. Both cars are gorgeous. What draws me to the Vette is I might be able to afford one in my lifetime.
@@ebernier797 I really appreciate that! Definitely more to come and we certainly will be getting more footage of these Z06s as we also have a blue one coming in as well! Once all the crazy dealership markups go away these will be so cool to get hopefully with a bit of discount haha. But I have to say the styling with the Z07 carbon package looks like this was how the C8 was destined to look like! And with the satin it really holds its own next to "real" exotics in my opinion! Doesn't hurt that it sounds incredible too!
Black color on Z06 looks like crap. Rapid blue wins by miles. Then the Lamborghini comes in 2nd. The torch red comes in 3rd. The white c8 comes in 4th. That black Z06 🥱
Ruined it with the satin wrap. Black satin was a early 2000s craze for tuner cars. The satin could work with graphics, but it detracts from the cars OEM paint job alone. Lamborghini does black satin graphics, but stops there. All the 3 series guys took their black satin wraps off to sell them. Just my opinion.
It’s actually clear paint protection film with a matte texture so not an actual satin vinyl wrap, I like it because it keeps the original paint protected while mixing it up a bit and giving it a slightly more bespoke look! This owner also left the roof gloss which makes for a cool contrast I think!

This Z06 maybe the worst ever. It’s got good bones but GM ruined it. Over nannied. Too big of rear tires runs lean, shock towers break
so. what part of the video was about comparing a z06 and a Lambo????

@@CarsPlz I don't need anything I don't want nobody to touch my cars I'm very picky. Sir. Even I didn't drive on the highways. Still I have the plastic bags in my ZL11LE 10 or my ZR1 C7 Corvette I don't need anything. Even if I go to the dealership no one's of mechanical to drive my car, only the owner of dealership. No one's of my family is allowed to drive my own cars or inside I don't want anyone. Inside my girlfriend without of her shoes inside. And I close the door for her. I'm not kidding I'm very picky. My car still smelling of factory.

It’s factory black paint but we applied matte paint protection film on it! We love how it turned out! More content from this car coming soon too!

This iteration with the matte black, carbon package, and being hhhe convertible is the perfect spec in my opinion!
