Wow it’s amazing how much love the c8 got from the after market community. It’s insane how many different body kits there are
It was definitely the dominant car of the show, without question. The other observation was, where there was a Supra, there was a C8; but C8's outnumbered Supras 2:1. These two are getting a LOT of love.
Why are there so many aftermarket for C8? C8 is just very hot and popular?

That Sebring orange Z06 was beautiful! I personally love it and think what they did was exactly what was needed. The reality is, the Z06 is all about the LT6 anyway. But personally I think the changes they made were perfect and honestly what it should have looked like as a stingray

Corvette = A real Super Car. It is an absolute gem of a creation. The Z06 is wide enough and anyone can see the design as a wider “race car” look and function. Chevrolet designs and builds are great. Ford too. Ford’s Mustangs are great and their all out race car in the GT (like GT 40) excels as a full blown race car for the street. Dodge Chrysler is bad ass too making the fastest production cars in the world in history of production vehicles.

Thank you for doing this video and I have been a Sub for quite awhile and been asleep at the Wheel and did not know you were on a mission to capture every C8 at SEMA!
I have not even watch the whole Video but feel I will be dissecting ever inch of the Video ! My wife said he can’t hear you as I have been filling in all the blanks of builders, etc as I have been researching ever C8 Aftermarket builder for months. I wanted to go to SEMA bad and being Canadian I did not want to deal with all issues for Covid etc. can’t wait to view the whole video many times over!

Show was very limited this year. About 55% down on attendance as a whole. Lots of exhibitors absent, so not nearly the cars like usual. Still massive by car show standards but, not typical SEMA by any means. Thanks for that sub!

Best C8 Kit at SEMA. I don't like those cheap flares looking kits. Why you want to cut your panels when you can just unbolt and swap it? Competition Carbon kit flows with all the bodylines

The Kindig car is badass
Wow those with the tacked-on flares were terrible! Some of the integrated cars looked good but the subtle width of the Z06 looked best to me.

A lot of trends are going rivetless and back fasteners. Getting cleaner lines but having the "bolt on" kits keeps mold cost and complexity less, therefore less price for small volume.

The corvette at 21: 36 I believe the orange one, to me has the nicest body kit out of all of them. It looks like it can be a factory car. Who makes that body kit? NICE.

Not a fan of the bolt on widebody kits...the competition carbon kit was nice....but no C8 stuff on their site.
They finished the kit 4 days before SEMA so, I imagine its coming.
Like that Stingray- R concept! GM should run with that edition for something special kinda on the lines of the Gran sport!!!

I think they both have design aspects I struggle with, but I will say yhe aftermarket widebodies appeal to me more than any oem design. That Z06 is gonna be all about the motor for me.
Appreciate the effort. Gave me some new ideas for my C8. Might be helpful to narrate to your audience through the entire video.

I really like the new Z06! I'm not sure why people are disappointed with the looks of the car. It's the first Z06 that is easily distinguished from the base Stingray. It's got plenty of unique aero and styling differences to set it apart. I'm not a fan of the aftermarket wide body kits so the subtly of the additional factory width suits my personal taste. Overall, I think the car looks great. My only wish is that Chevy would offer a bright green to the color palette. Something along the lines of the Lambo Mantis green. What's your opinion?
This video isnt representative my other videos. This was meant to be shot quickly on day 1 and get them all. I used a gopro9 with media mod only. I generally shoot with much higher end hardware and audio systems.
Great video, thanks for bringing SEMA to us! Just a little critiquing, slow down the movement, you can barely get a look at the engine and other materials. Again, thank you so much for doing this!
People are critiquing the video, trust me...I put a LOT of quality and effort into my main videos, but this show is massive and the best I could do was a run-n-gun approach with a gopro and media mod. I have a Sony A7C and rode mics, etc, but the choice to just get through the show quickly was of more importance. The cars were spread over a massive area. We walked 7+ miles in a condensed timeframe to get them all, so there is some level of urgency. My bad....

I just watched (sos customs ) on TH-cam fit a wide body kit to one of these ! Well I think it was one of these it looked like one , and the kit was fitted and designed fitted with exposed screws but they filled them in it looked pretty cool although I don’t know what I’m talking about I’ve never seen one in the UK . good vid bro thanks 👍

Which C8 will hold best value?
My allocation should be here next week, and I plan on driving it 3-6 months due to personal reason. Is there any configuration recommended, to reduce exposure, for resale since I’ll be selling within 6 months after driving it? I can only afford the 1LT so that’s a must. Color choices (exterior and interior), options, etc?
Z51 cars with 3LT, but dont think the prices arent going down...they definitely are. This is a bubble due to chip shortages and labor shortages. Once production returns, these are depreciating like any other Corvette
