  • In 1980, Dr. Creep ran for president of the U.S. on the Slumber Party ticket. This video includes segments of the "Spam and Noodle" fundraising dinner, hosted by local WING radio DJs John King and Terry Dorsey. Chip Carter, son of then-president and candidate Jimmy Carter, appeared on the show.
On Jan 1, 1980, "Shock Theatre" was renamed "Saturday Night Dead." A new show open and set location (Creep's nightclub/cafe) reflected the local TV station's switch in network affiliation to NBC and the show was scheduled after "Saturday Night Live."
Shock Theatre was a late night horror movie TV show in Dayton Ohio from 1972 to 1985. The host was Dr. Creep (aka Barry Hobart). Creep's sidekick from 1977 to 1980 was Obieyoyo (tm); producer was John Higgins. www.shocktheatr... www.drcreep.com www.nightvision...

Creep was a big deal in Dayton. Drove around in a hearse. Had a great laugh.
