One of the best power amplifiers ever made. I think you’ll be happy, Andrew!

Sansui prices sky highed since few years. I love their sound and look. They manufaktured also good tube amps.

Should have it immediately checked out and restored before even using. You might spend as much replacing the caps and defective transistors.

@@vintagestereo keep your eyes out, it's worth it:) there is a clip on TH-cam with some focal speakers. The real deal is way better ofcourse, but it might give you an impression

You don't need a pre amp for digital sources. The preamp is good for analog source .

I will resell this one after my review because I discover that the matching pre amp is very expensive and I don't like different pre amp ...I only like matching pre amps...I have mint onkyo m504 now with matching pre amp...maybe the sound is not as good as the sansui but I love more the looks and the set is complete. I will use the onkyo on my canton's when i sit behind my laptop on the side of the speakers and when I keep the tube amplifier, I will connect the tube amp to my hecos and only use that combination when I am sitting in the sweet spot and really listen to music... It is to expensive in electricity to spin the tube amp day and night.....not sure if I can keep the tube amp, depends how much discount the shop is going to give me. If not I will use the sansui x911dg in combination with my heco's. I discovered that there are almost no heco's to find in America, very strange because the owner, Foxx international is a american company. I love so much that tube amp that it will be hard to let it go...I think the tube amp is not good for me because i am a person who is easy hooked on certain things.... i was looking 3 days for el34 tubes and those old NOS tubes are very expensive but once I have these tubes I want to know it all, so better send the tube amp back, I have enough addictions with amps and speakers already don't need a new addiction, not good for my wallet

Hello Abdrew, proof again that finding excellent vintage Equipment is a LOT more fun and far more satisfactory than acquiring new and extremely costly separates. You and the Chinese are going to turn the High End Business upside down!

Andrew...... You are very lucky,to have access to so much vintage sound equipment. I do notice however, you are straying away from vintage receivers, and into more high wpc, integrated amps, with bigger price tags......

    • @vintagestereo

vintage receivers are now so expensive, only with luck you can score one
