Your copy of The Incredibles and that other VeggieTales VHS reminds me of my copy of the 2004 VHS of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The film strip doesn't have damage, but the inner mechanisms on the cassette are squeaky. I can hear it when playing it and especially when rewinding. I also shook it and the reels definitely sound loose.
Great news vhs tapes don't stop playing at all like my damage blue ray disc movies does everything proven vhs tapes don't lock up at all like internet does
10:33 I once bought a copy of the Dutch version of Robin Hood (the Disney one) and when I put the tape in right at the beginning it just started at the bit before Alan A Dale starts whistling 🤔
I have the 2003 Platinum Edition VHS of The Lion King I got for Christmas which is damaged along with the 2003 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets VHS and the 2004 Cat In The Hat VHS I got for my 12th birthday.
The reason I haven’t posted a video like this in a long time was because I’ve been very busy with other stuff. Not only that, but most of my old damaged tapes have been dumped and replaced with good copies.
