As to your question on how to update the nav database, I read in the XP dot org forum that the splash screen during G1000 nav display boot is a static image, and doesn't show the database version.
There is no new updated TBM-850 from Carenado for X-Plane 11 yet. I've got all kinds of various problems with the XP10 plane when used in XP11. Looking forward to watching this video to see how you deal with them.

I just bought this module with the intent of flying it in X-Plane 11. The quality looks like an X-Plane 10 module. Additionally, my dashboard is so dark, I cannot see the switches and/or buttons. Any recommendations on how to fix this?
Another Stevo fan here... maybe someone can help me out here... my TBM seems to just run want to run away during taxiing. Prop rpm low, even fuel lever low, yet the plane just want to get going - in idle setting, of course. What am I missing? Thanks!

Nice video! Your PFD is in reversionary mode, the engine instruments don't appear on the left side of the PFD unless the MFD goes out. The 900 looks flat and FS98ish until they develope it more I suppose? This looks great!
The 900 from Hot Start gonna be far superior to the Carenado one.

Somehow I have sporadic issues with my TBM850 ... I cant currently use the PROC button on any screen ... hmmm
everytime i press FPL, nothing happens.
one you downloaded the software that carenado had you download for the g1000 where did you put it? my proc button on the g1000 does not work

Did you set the Parking Brake that is below the Control Wheel ?

I finally got around the engine fire on startup. But my frame rates are horrific with this aircraft. Any ideas what I can tweak to get them back up?
