I also listened to the TC + Tube Mini at CanJam SoCal last year, and loved it. I bought the TC's because of it. The TC and the Corina were the stand-out favorites for me.

Great review! My Tube Mini is on the way, and I'm happy that it sounds like it will be wonderful in combo with my VC and Atrium. Honestly, I was just looking for a super mini system at home that I can easily move around. Sounds like this fits the bill!

great review. funny that people forget that cellphones did not exist when vacuum tubes were widely used so EMI was a non-issue. 😂

Great review. Maybe your best yet. When I pick up the new ZMF Bokeh in December, I will grab one of these in gold (what no gold?!) to go with it.

Bought an iFi IEMatch4.4 for my IEMs to run with the Tube Mini and it made all the difference.

Does the iematch change the sound on multi driver iems? Like an impedance adapter would

I grew up listening to my grandma's RCA tube stereo in the pool wcabana with 8 tracks, records, am/fm radio, at home a big couch sized console with a TV, speakers, am/fm stereo, record player, etc, and as a guitar player I only used tube amps, NOS tubes when possible, analog FX units mainly, vintage when possible, almost always Duracell copper top Alkaline battery or old school style carbon comp battery, virtually never mains or wall wart power unlessrequired, hate digital amps, didn't care much for most digital FX/pedal/rack mount units much. Ui have a kinda limited budget, like $150-$400/$500. I am mainly a IEM guy, but do have a pair if Hifiman Sundara cans, hope to get Focal Clear MG .vpcans. I would like to find something that also would be a goid home stereo hifi system preamp. U think the tube mini 2 or the Chord Mojo 2, or maybe a Bottle Head Crack or something else would be best option for me? When u next see or talk to Woo Audio folks, u should suggest them using a aluminium/copper wire mesh embedded in or laid iver/under the glass to help with RFI, etc interference, or cigarette sized strips of it with a box outline border for RFI n ro help protect the glass. Maybe using a fire/heat proof/resistant semi hard foam to help shock absorptionp/vibration of tubes and or spring loaded shielded tube sockets or similar used in guitar tube amps for interference n microphonics reduction. Thanks, Ryan V.

@@Skeeb23That would be cool! I liked the sound of the firefly when I demoed it, but man it is nearly $2000 in my country. If I could get that woo sound for half or 1/3 the price I would do it.

Would this be a good pairing with the Grado (specifically gs3000e) headphones? The Grados are 32 ohms so I am wondering if this will give the same result as with the iems.

Would this be a good pairing with edition xs or fiio ft3? As I get deeper into this hobby I’m leaning more towards musicality and techs rather than all of the details right here right now! I’ve been eyeing up the cayin ru7, currently have a btr7 and qudelix.

I don't have experience with either of those. However, based off of specs alone, I would say to be safe I would not recommend this dac/amp for those HP's. It's really going to do the best with higher impedance, more difficult to drive headphones.

Qudelix 5k/ifi goblu/btr7 and dunu falcon ultra or simgot em6l. Kiwi ears quintet is also fantastic, or kiwi ears orchestra lite (but the lite has no vents, so you’ll need to bear with it or get eartips like tang sencai, spring tips or foams. Also it’s on the large side, so it’ll stick out a bit)
