- Hello there! So, today I'm recreating a hairstyle that my good friend and hairdresser George Northwood once created for me for the British Fashion Awards in 2017 - it's a real favourite of mine. Often when I'm wearing a super feminine dress I like to do something a bit more androgynous with the hair to counterbalance the vibe. Hope you like it. How would you would make this hair style androgynous for someone that has a really feminine looking face? Alexa has a more masculine rectangular face that lends it self to the the androgynous natural style.

When you've got big naturally curly hair and couldn't brush your hair without looking like a bird's nest but are still watching anyway.
Just love your videos. I completely agree regarding the necessity of contrasting styles, pairing the androgynous with the more feminine looks, keeps it all looking more modern and not horribly matchy-matchy. For years my uniform was a pair of baggy camo pants, docs, and a lacy tank. Badass and sexy. At 51 no wait 52? Well at whatever age I am I still rock that look now and then.

34 years ago I used to get my hair cut at VS Academy when I was a student - dirt cheap but you had to agree to anything. Had some unusual styles - some great, some a bit 'out there' -never dull!

Must be nice being a woman and getting a ton of hairstyles to choose from. As a guy we only get three: short, medium and long(usually just means you need a haircut and go back to options 1 or 2).

Her hair was so "Alexa" about everything. Like, it just didnt fuss about anything different. The hair drying the new part was so unnecessary because her hair just accepted the part. My hair would flop over and resist to no end.

After all of that, he really didn't do much to her hair from what it started out as. This is a prime example of somebody who charges a lot of money to be "who they are" but doesn't REALLY do anything. He's done better in her other videos. This was so lackluster and not worth a watch! I'm going to remove it from my watch history because… This one is so very blah !!!

O Moriarty Haha! Well,....even though I was slimmer then, I don’t think anyone has ever mistaken me for a boy. Sadly Storm Troopers, like so many things, turn out to be oestrogen dependent. You don’t need a light sabre, just pouchy little jowls.
