- Wow! I am still in shock! Come with me as I get ready for and attend the Dallas ISD ceremony as they dedicate the track I grew up running on in MY HOME town to me. It was already an honor to experience this, but to also have November 10, 2023 dubbed Sha’Carri’s Richardson Day is wild!
Thank you to every student, school, coach, dignitary, teammate, friend, my city, and especially my family for showing up and pouring so much love into me. 🥹
It was special! Words cannot express how I feel. Thank you!

I've been rocking with you since day one and I'm so, so, proud of you! You did your thing Sha'Carri. You accomplished sooo much in just one year. I can only imagine the amazing things you'll achieve on and off the track in the years ahead. Thank you for never giving up and for showing the world the strength of a beautiful black woman. I can’t wait for the book drop. Her opposition wanted to break her, and she brushed all her haters off w/ grace. Now, her legacy is permanently cemented in history. This is a story of overcoming in spite of, and continuing on a path w/ faith. She has a testimony to share w/ the world, and I am here for it.
