Brooding 800 Baby Chicks with ZERO HEAT - Chicken Brooder Plan is Here

  • Have you ever thought about the possibility of brooding baby chicks without any heat source? That is exactly what I am showing you in this video. How to use chicken brooder box to eliminate the need for heat during brooding and still record ZERO MORTALITY.
    With this chicken brooder plan, no need for gas brooder, charcoal, stove and other heat sources for conventional brooding.
    Prices of day old chicks are up, and so is poultry feed. To have a profitable poultry business today, it is important for poultry farmers to learn ways of reducing cost of production. This will ensure that profit margin remains large enough to sponsor the continuity of the venture.
    Hopefully you will be able to follow this brooder plan and make one for yourself. You will notice that you can use this brooder design to brooder up to 800 baby chicks and more in a small tiny space as I have in the video.
    Do Like and Share the video.
    Cheers!

    This is wonderful, so if am raising broilers, for long can they stay in there?

    • @diyagric
      @diyagric  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Depends on the quantity per box. But to achieve the purpose (NO HEAT) they must stay for at least 10 days before they are moved to a deep litter or bigger cage.
      The goal is to eliminate or minimise heat as much as possible.
      Heating equipment and supplies are now expensive for the struggling farmer. Gas, even charcoal is expensive

    • @diyagric

    • @diyagric

      It depends on actual number and growth rate. But you will know when the place is no longer comfortable for them.
      If you are planning it for broilers, I recommend 5ft X 3ft instead of 5ft X 28" that I did.

      Yes, but remember, you need an enclosed room and then this kind of brooder box.
      You should also check the temperature with a thermometer to see if it's okay.
      With mine, the minimum we have had even in the night is 26 degrees. And the birds were just fine with that. Provided there is light and feed.
