There really was a man with an ax standing in rain, surrounded by fire and pine trees. Later in that same dream there were satellites falling down and crashing just like when he says "the satellites are down" and to make it stranger in a dream I had the next night or something I had a dream about being at concert with a guy performing who looked a lot like Ronnie. And in the song he says "there's a place that I can see, this place lies within the depths of my dreams." All of this before I ever started listening to Escape the Fate.
