Anyone ever notice how most of their backstories for C2 share the theme of transformation?
When you realize Sam and Liam had their characters down from minute 1 of the first session
holy FRICK.
Thats one HECK of a backstory. I knew Nott had a family from references in other animated clips but I hadnt seen this before. Wow.
Kudos to Nott for telling the entire thing. Fantasy or not, I wouldnt have even gotten a minute into RPing something so tragic. Absolutely blown away.
I love how in awe Travis is of the story Sam is telling. He just gets so immersed and it's great to watch
"Ladies and Gentlemen of all species, Emmy Award-winning actor Sam Riegal!"
I don't cry, ever, but this broke me
watched this live was an amazing moment and made me really respect the whole group as role players and story makers. this show is filled with great moments.
Geeze, man... you killed it. This was amazing.
OMG I stumbled on this and am not even finished watching season 1, but MATT HAS FACIAL HAIR? I. AM. DECEASED.
Oh buddy it gets even better, campaign 2 is beard Matt heaven
sam does a lot of things up to this that are super references. you even see sam running off to get people to stop chasing hem from that one temple.
When you just know the story isn’t going to end well so your just crying through the whole thing...
i love it... "i was just... Nott"
Daytime Academy Award winner Sam Riegel is a goddamn genius!!!
Everyone’s faces: 🥺🥺
Travis: 🤯🤯
You know its serious when marisha sits still
The best part about this is them dragging Nott around the bottom of the ocean for a month straight right before this
I love watching Travis and Laura's faces during this
What was the soundtrack that started at 7:10? I've been trying to find the title for months, as I really loved it and I really want to play it during the sad moments of my campaign.
@@Bakuplayer13 Actually, I found it long ago. It was "I Lament."
@@holycheeseburger2981 thanks man
Just look at Matt's face during the whole conversation, especially the first few minutes. Sam's elaborate story about being ridiculed, being an outcast, misunderstood, pushed away by society's standards seems to remind Matt of his own similar experiences in life. Being the "weird" one, the one out of the ordinary, struggling with your basic identity, a battle we all need to go through, but sometimes people tend to choose and make it a lot harder for us. A great, relatable analogy from Sam.
Always remember how SHOCKED I was when this happened.
What an incredible backstory. It’s always the joker who’s the most tragic.
2 years too late, but do remember that this guy is likely the best known for his comic relief. Having HIM tell this story hurts just *that* bit more, I reckon.
This is really touching, but I can't help but focus on the Oblivion music in the background lol
Im crying so much, i cant. Too well done
so my mind went the "they drowned my son in front of me" instead of the "they drowned me" route
Man that “ just nott” really hits hard.
Liam's expression looks torn up personally. That wasn't just acting. That's the same anguish as at what almost happened to Gilmore in the previous campaign.
Next campaign, Sam has to play Luc. It would be so damn perfect
Who else heard when jester said ah spin the bottle; instead heard in the buthole. I was like damn halfling's go that extra distance don't they.
Nott my president
What's the track Matt plays at 7:40?
Nott is the best Mother
best moment in the campaign
Uhhh. This says 2 years ago... but its campaign 2.... where has time gone?
IKR? 135 episodes in the can, and there was a major Covid break in there. Where does time fly to, that it's in such a hurry to get there?
How has it already been two years since this happened?!
