Great video!!! 🤗🤗🤗 I'm going to buy me one for Christmas I really like it!!! I have from two years ago an Astell & Kerns SR25 player in red the holiday bundle I bought for Christmas two years ago I love that off center screen and I haveva Fiio M7 too. I have been wanting thisp for about a year and I'm getting this for Christmas!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The plastic window on the top is probably for the BT/Wifi antenna(s), given the all metal body.
Great video..
Just bought one. Can you shuffle the entire library? I see it shuffling single album. I really hope it does or sending back. If it doesn't I could use a recommendation. Thanks!
what is the battery life? I loved this mp3, it's a shame the value for coming to Brazil is so expensive :(
Where can I download the latest firmware. Mine has no album art and wifi features?
I've been searching around for a dedicated music player that I can use when helping folks with stress, with PTSD, during mediation session. I've used a cellphone and mega boom speakers, so far they work fairly well, however at times the system can glitch, dropping the "party-up" system/function, worst is that that takes place during a mediation session... so that has pushed the idea of setting up a more dedicated setup, not using a cellphone, being able to not confuse the Bluetooth if at all possible... which can happen when moving from one healing space to the other... the connection can drop, real pain getting the whole thing back on-line!
wondering if you might have a suggestion of a music player that delivers good sound, that can allow loading the Bose app to run the Bose speakers or mega boom speakers and app.
Maybe I'm overthinking this... would love to just be able to setup a player that will just work when I need it too... something I can also kinds of DJ too, meaning if need be I can change the song that's going to play next(or play list), I can carefully raise or lower the volume on the fly... I can load a bunch of playlists... the device can play for many hours without being charged...
TIA!!!
Hello, So few questions 1. How many people are in the mediation session (how many do you want on the same points in sound). 2. Do you need to talk in headphones durring the session (tell them to breath or something)?
A wired connection will give better audio and MUCH less chance of the music stopping / glitching etc. Wired in ear headphones are better than meditation, as a under $60 option I would suggest the Surfans SE01 in ear monitors amzn.to/3ZjzGmL Great sound and a HUGE value. If you want something more the Sony IER-M7 are amazing but $498 amzn.to/3YYAT2v I'm also reviewing the New Sony HD audio player next week. Its sold out / on backorder everywhere and may be a good player option at $350 but this Ruizu player amzn.to/3wcixhX is amazing for about $100 As far as a little mixer I use he AU-AM200-S1 amzn.to/3XFMrH0
I hope this helps some, If over the ear headphones is your choice let me know and I have a few suggestions. There is allot of options but your budget is needed and number of people listening at once.
@@TUXXREVIEWS thanks for the info! 🙏 it can be one person up to say twenty people and the sounds via external speakers, for now anyways. 🔊 having anything in or over their ears would be distracting.👂 I think I need one of these players that allows to install the Bose app for I can link the speakers.
@@michaelscott1215 It should be easy to add in more speakers. One benefit to in the ear earbuds is you wont hear other people making sounds like coughing, shifting positions etc.
Hello, great video!!
Do you know if it is possible to connect a headphone to listen to music on the Type-C output of the RUIZU ?
thanks.
I've never tried that (and it doesnt say) but Amazons return policy is pretty easy if the unit doesnt meet your needs. I would buy and try.
I have an odd question. Does this player keep a log or history of the music you've listened to? I'm a big nerd and like to keep stats on my music listening so it would be helpful for keeping track.
In tidal I know it keeps a history but if playing your own mp3s I dont think it does (or atleast a feature I havent used) I will look further into this.
that is an odd feature..
The filter settings relate to the DAC (ESS ES9018Q2C) filters, not inter-track transitions.
This player has a DAC ?
@@woodbinescab yes, it has the ESS ES9018Q2C DAC/AMP which converts decoded digital audio to analogue and drives the headphone output, however the DAC is not accessible to external inputs, such as USB, only to the internal audio file player, IIRC.
@@SeeTeeShock Thank you for your reply.
@@SeeTeeShock where u see tis player have DAC ESS ES9018Q2C? i cannot find the spec in the internet
I don't understand one thing.. these output power is only 80mW. this is enough the power for headphones?
why I am asking presently my dap (Xduoo X2s) output power is 250mW. Pls Reply.. Thanks
Do you think cheaper ruizu have similar audio quality to this slightly costlier one?
I do not think so, as a professional audio player ODM, we know the cost is mainly from Chip mainboard, the chip will decide the sound quality, good chip has a good price.
I'm thinking about getting my first hifi music player, should I buy this one or Surfans F20? What do you on think it's better?
I may make a video on this very topic after just a little more testing. I guess some questions for you are in order. 1. What type of music files (mp3, Flac etc) do you collect? 2. Where do you want to use your mp3player (workout, school, in the car etc). 3 type of music you like 4. Listen to full albums or single songs.
@@TUXXREVIEWS in my case: FLAC, just walking somewhere (i always have a bag with me), i listen to metal and full albums
@@brunopragosa9308 I need to test further but if the user interface and ease of use is more important then I would say RUIZU but sound quality may be better on Surfans F20. Its a complication and I'm testing - more soon.
Thank you ^^
any recommendations for what you think is a good mp3 player for school/walking and is a touchscreen with the price around maybe $40?
On Amazon this one amzn.to/3HvqxRE is a good under $50 choice. I has a long lasting Battery, says 20 hours but I havent had to charge mine that fast and plays lossless high quality MP3s. It comes with a memory card and earbuds too. a great deal for a small easy to pocket MP3 player. If you want something more full featured (like a cell phone) this one amzn.to/3WC0CMC is a great deal with 4 inch touch screen
@@TUXXREVIEWS tinkyu
The one in video is $43 on ebay but will take a month as it's direct from china
There is lesser players for under $50 but not NEW ones and good luck returning defective units to sellers who are shipping from China. Great way to get a junk defective ebay unit you cant return.
@@TUXXREVIEWS oh yea eBay did change there return policy s, I'm good myself have the hidizs ap80 pro and of course my iPod rocking rockbox.
Thanks a lot for this video bro, by the way I'm looking for digital voice recorder other than expensive zoom & tascam, does Ruizu have any digital voice recorder for band recording ??
I USE THIS ONE : amzn.to/3YCoJfx I dont believe it does voice recording but perhaps I havent seen it yet. Please click link to amazon for some additional tech specs. I will look into this as well.
Does it have FM radio and recorder ?
Hi, what about sound quality? Battery life? I'm asking because I'm looking for a DAP to use in office with earphones not expensive because I don't have much money to spend.
I will thank you if you can help me
Im making a comparision video between this unit and the Sony NW-A306. But for the money the Ritzu is fine player with many amazing features for the price point. It doesnt have all the Sony features but I will cover this more in video.
Sweet review. Where can buy the case cover for this device
It's included.
THE most important thing is NOT the music formats, it's whether it will remember the position of a song when you turn it off so you can pick up when you turn it back on (I listen to a lot of radio plays) AND if you can navigate by folders and it plays back songs within that folder in order and then moves onto the next song when it's finished.
Anything less is a waste of time and in 2023 this should be standard across the board - but it's not FFS.
My old Sansa fuze worked this way so why don't newer players?
Gapless playback would be ideal too.
But WHY is the headphone socket on the bottom?
Your old Sansa fuse is a low capacity old school player. It was great for it's time but can't compete with modern hd audio players. I agree the head phone jack on top is perfect but many disagree. Popular reason for having it on bottom include not having the cord hang over the player and being able to dock with both power and audio out. I still prefer it on top and on a majority of my players it is. Examples Sony NW-A306 and Sony Experia 1 V
Great review
Thank You!
I have a question, can I connect my phone via Bluetooth to the mp3 player and use wired headphones on it?
I want to say no but with allot of effort you know maybe. But more work than reward if even possible on some random dap.
The filter roll offs have nothing to do with the end of a song fading into the next. Usual that is found in crossfade selection or something similar
Also in reviews be more specific about sound quality and power quality
Do your homework before you review a product
there is no crossfade section (or similar as your guesses continue, Do homework before you critize on something you dont know.
Cool little thing. can it be controlled by bluetooth headsets?
Yes - Ive controlled via blu tooth smart watch. Results mayvery based on hardware. I would check with headphone maker etc.
Yes, I can control the volume and play/pause through my Bluetooth headset.
Can I use this for DAC with Computer?
yes
On Cap, Codec?
Could you turn the screen off for battery drain?
there is settings to adjust how long it stays on, you should be able to tap it off as well - short press on power.
I awesome look mp3 player before smartphone era
❤haw do you tack it a part
Hi how about the battery life ? Incase I missed
I've yet to hit zero charge using daily but I have a great multi charger (reviewed here th-cam.com/video/UiAA07UzdDE/w-d-xo.html ). I keep all my players pluged in when not in use.
If you want to purchase the multi unit charging dock I use heres the amazon link: amzn.to/3WUDBoi
can I transfer my music from iTunes to this player
paid MP3s yes, ones that are not really yours (downloaded from apple subscription) you would need to check with apple but since its a android player I would think you just go to google play store and download itunes. etc.
How long does battery last
8-10 hours If you don't use bluetooth.
How is your Bluetooth music conection
solid, no issues
Please make content about this ruizu again,
Yes I plan on more on this player. I was using it yesterday for hours.

Dogs? No? Timestamp to sound I'll check it out.
@@TUXXREVIEWS I heard a noise in the background throughout the whole video.
@@MobileDecay Some sounds I cant control but perhaps I missed something I can control sound wise. can you give me a time stamp (or two) of the sound at its worse. Also in the spirit of trouble shooting do you hear this same sound at the same time stamps on diffrent hardware?
@@TUXXREVIEWS It's not a big deal. I'm surprised I was capable of even hearing it. Not even sure if you'd be able to pick it up.
@@MobileDecay OK NP
Nothing mentioned about sound quality?
That was more of a unboxing, Ive been using the unit allot and have much to say. I will do a record a follow up video with more about sound.
