The magazine is probably the simplest part of a handgun like this. A little modification and it can be manipulated to standard specifications which it was designed to be. Be ungovernable.
@Dylan Hens I called Tandemkross and they allowed me to purchase the little shims they include in there mag extension kit, it corrects this issue.. I got 5 of them think they charged me like $2 plus shipping.
Sorry for the late reply, yes you can. I made this video, after looking at aftermarket extension and saw how they work. They also reply on the oem spring (most of them do), and just uses the follower without the cross bar. If you went went tandemkross's +5 base, then you would not have to do this modification at all. I believe tandemkross has their own mechanism to hold the base plate in place.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. It is a LakelineLLC Shield RMSC footprint plate. I went with them since Galloway’s plate is thicker and the optic sits higher. I also got a stainless steel recoil guide rod and spring from lakelineLLC. Side note, I have seen one company mill the slide for an optic, but I’ve also read that the slide being aluminum and soft that it’s very easy to mess up, so that is why I went with the plate.

Thanks!✌️
So I noticed when you remove the little mag assist tab the follower tilts more than it would with it installed.. Has anyone had any issues with this?
I’ve had zero issues and zero tilting with mine
I noticed the same thing with the tilting, I guess we will see.

Thank you for the great video!
BIG THANKS!
So I am going to do this but was just wondering if I could do this and add the Tandemkross +5 base on it to make it 21 rds. ???

Galloway precision make 9+ extension in case if you’re curious
Worked just fine, easy to do…
Man nice video was wondering what light are you using on your Tx22
Surefire x300. I mainly got it to index in universal x300 holsters. Since there seems to not exist for taurus.
Thank you. I'm gonna have to try this.
How do you have that optic on the slide?

Demel would be more ideal. But good job. It got the job done anyways.
True, I don’t have to look at it, so this is fine haha
How did you mount the optics to your weapon?
Lakeline LLC
what red dot are you using?
