That's a wonderful Effort of you, Filippo. I am looking into DIY controllers after watching your videos. Have you had any success with more than 8 faders? Tanti auguri!
Thanks Horst, I'm happy to hear that the video was useful for you. About your question for now my plan is to complete a full DIY remote control according to Mackie protocol specifications so with 8 channels plus the master. Then I will attack evolutions (more faders, more knobs and controls) probably moving to the Eucon protocol which looks much more flexible and powerful then the Mackie one. Keep me please informed if you like about your progresses!! Cheers!
Ciao Filippo. Dopo aver configurato il microcontrollore come esposto nel video precedente, onestamente non ho capito come arrivarivare al file d'uscita. Grazie. Riccardo
Still Love this project!! Have you implemented USB connection to the DAW? and Can other buttons and encoders be added to the system for use through the Cubase generic midi tool?
Hello, thanks for your appreciation :-) I'm working on the USB implementation and yes it is absolutely possible to complete the strip adding select, mute, solo and rec buttons, the rotary encoder with LEDs and the meter bar! In fact i did it, please check the link below. i just need to find the time to make a video and publish the material. 1drv.ms/u/s!AoF-EiIcnf9VhsxNtr5haYCf0Yp8_g?e=J3U2di Cheers, Filippo
