Happy Birthday Zoe from Melbourne Australia! Love all your episodes! Good to see you all still have fun despite the intermittent rainy weather! Cheers
Thanks so much, Jo. We're glad you enjoy our videos 👍👍
Well done that man. 👍The pip that came off was the turbo pipe from the intercooler. It happens to a lot of vehicles with turbo .what happens is the rubber pipe tends settle and then the clip is loose it need checking at both ends every now and again to make sure they're tight. Which is why put spring loaded clips on these days.
Spot on unless you have a Jaguar XF and the intercooler union just blows open along the seam
But we don't have a turbo, @Bob-thenomad
@@HermanHitstheRoad What engine is in Herman? My 2000 B584 has the 2.8JTD which does have a turbo.
@dburgess287 ours is a 1998 2.5 Diesel, no turbo
Well done Adze for sorting Herman. Happy birthday Zoe 🎉🎈🎁🎂

Wow! Bedale, That's where I lived as a child. Garden Cottage. Always and never fail to travel back to there every time we are travelling. Travelled to Manchester to collect my wife from her 5 week travel's to China. Stopped off at York, Bedale, Burrill, Whitby, Saltburn-by-the Sea and then home. I just love the place. Bedale that is.
Fantastic place, @tstuart7333 👍👍. Thanks for commenting

Happy Belated Birthday Zoe!🎉
Thanks @tiakontikiadventures1536 👍👍
We had that with Nessa. Except we had a split that looked like it had been sliced it was so neat. That was our intercool hose. So with panel adhesive super glue and duck tape I fixed it. Then ordered a new hose for when we got home. Goes straight into limp mode and it’s fun when you get near a hill. Nessa was no stranger to limp mode. Hopefully with the new gearbox that will be a thing of the past.
Bedale is lovely. May have to check out the campsite for future trip planning.
Poor Nessa. Is she OK now, @simon_w74? Everything sorted?
@@HermanHitstheRoadso far she is better on fuel from our one trip out this year. Will be interesting to see how good she is one fuel when we go on to Mull this Summer. Just had to change leisure battery. Went for a Lithium Phosphate battery so will see how that goes as I don’t know how the old analog panel will get on with a battery that more power can be drawn from. Not a bad thing if it still only allows half usage like before. Shouldn’t have an issue as we have solar and quite low consumption. Will be also interesting to see if we can do Mull and back without any mechanical issues popping up. As we haven’t managed it yet. Hopefully this will be the first time. Still it adds a bit of excitement to the journey if we do have something to fix. Old A Classes fun and games I guess.
Breaking down on Motorway having to looking out for idiots and trying to fix the Motorhome must have been stressful.
I was a bit, @qwertysds
Who did you go to Canada with and how was it doing the guided tour? Mrs P has always wanted to go to Canada so this looks great. Great Vlog 🎉
We went with the Camping and Caravanning Club, @paulpowell1259 . Unfortunately, the pandemic put an end to that as the dept was shutdown. Caravan Club did/do a similar tour. We loved the guided tour. I guess the other party members and the guides make it and we had a group of people with us.
Hi
Hi @CraftyCampervanners
That looks to be an intercooler pipe feeding air to the engine/ turbo that hose clamp needs to be good and tight.
We don't have a turbo, @tomryall3. It appears to go to the top of the engine
To paraphrase Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction; "Milkshake. The cornerstone of any nutritious diet..."
Yes, it is. Thanks @HerbertDuckshort 👍👍
No way that happened to me in France 🇫🇷
Were you able to fix it, @johnhartill7423 ?
Yeah I did fixed it just like you can’t believe it happened to you as well lol
No Turbo Boost!!!
Turbo boost isn't fitted, @peterneal7160
