    Awesome video.
    I just ordered two items for the back of my Toyota Tacoma truck. What I got was the larger tool box (all black) that opens up at the top. And what I plan on placing below it is the single drawer box.
    Anything that opens “up” should have a single drawer or double drawer (or both) underneath it so you can access everything without having to take a top box off.
    I can’t wait to use Rough Country straps to hold this box to my Rough Country MOLLE bed walls.
    I plan on keeping a bottle jack and heavy duty jumper cables in the big box and smaller, low profile items like hand tools in the drawer below.
    Thank you for sharing this video, you did a great job of showing all the different options out there.

    I like the tstak vrs the other larger models because they are easier to get in and out of your truck and haul around.

    I use foam window seal, 3/16"-3/8" to fit in the groove of the upper lid to create a water proof seal on my TSAK's. It is thicker, and I believe more water tight, than the Craftsman Versa Stack foam seal they use.

    I just bought five of the double drawer and five of the deep single drawer t staks this morning. I got sick of having blades and bits in the case with each tool so I now have a seat unit attached to each tool with the corresponding blades or bits inside. I also got two t stak tool totes one for my hand tools and one that I am going to fit a load of battery mounts in to to carry my vast collection of 18 & 54 volt batteries. I wanted to get the tough system 2.0 but I already have a t stak for each tool so that would have cost me even more. I'm happy with my set up for now at least lol. 👍🙂

      You are very smart that's exactly what I am doing now having each tool or maybe a few if they fit in the same box with two sliding drawers underneath for the blades or the drill bits whatever the case but yes good idea!

    hey brad.. which system/storage options would you recommend to a painter with a pickup truck?.. been racking my brain over it for awhile..i have tough system but i can only find the middle box works good for drywall..i do have sherwin williams bags (which have been good) but going to try the dewalt 4 in one mobile box.. ive tried packout twice but i couldn’t find a way to work either (prob my OCD).. any suggestions?

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I like packout because it’s water proof and they have lots of options for other cases, The problem is they are expensive. The new Toughbuilt boxes look really nice and are way cheaper. I don’t like the dewalt system at all. To much work to connect them together. The tstak system is great but not waterproof, unless they changed. When I was working outside a lot I was happy using the packout system, not having to pull my trailer around was nice for a change. It’s definitely a hard decision to make because once you start buying boxes you are set in that brand. Packout does make a massive box that works for larger tools. But it can get really heavy. Hope my thoughts helped a bit. Best of luck! Let me know what you go with👊

Edit: I just wish it was the Toughsystem 2.0 but it's hard to find here in EU and the cost more than dubble. Also I hated it when I needed a tool in the bottom case. taking apart the system to get one tool, no thanks lol.
