Miniature Food Pastry Tray Polymer Clay Tutorial in Time Lapse

- Hey pretty, click me! :)
Watch me build a miniature wooden tray and fill it with cake, tea cups and a white rose.
I used samba wood for the tray, covered it first in white primer, then in a mix of acrylic paint.
For the rose, I used a plastic coated wire. (it's a kind of beading wire wrapped in plastic)
The rest is sculpted from polymer clay.
The cups and plates are baked before being sanded and filled, then baked again.
Well that's pretty much it. Nothing too fancy :)

You make it look so easy... a true teacher always does... until you start trying yourself :-)
Cheery music this time!
+heyme1966 haha, yes, cheery music, tried to match it to the theme :)
The result is like a breakfast on bed tray! Amazing as always!! :)
+The Blue Rabbit House I actually used to make breakfast trays a lot in the beginning, maybe I should re-do one :)
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat If you do, you can make a video out of it! :D
+The Blue Rabbit House oh yes! if I keep doing these every week, I'll do a lot of things :D
That's great!! You sure keep me motivated and curious at the same time! :)
I have smiled the entire video! you are simply amazing! Everything is so detailed, I admire your patience and grace with witch you handle that clay! :-)
Adorable! Quel plaisir de te voir travailler après avoir autant admiré tes photos!
+Non-chan's Créations merci! :)

This is amazing!!!! You rock! I've seen mini tea cups for sale, and wondered at the start of this video if you maybe used bought -- then I see you MADE YOUR OWN!!! You're amazing!! I love your channel!!!
You can also buy them if you prefer. You can find porcelain ones made from "falcon miniatures".
Beautiful, especially like the rose.
+Gabrielle Schmidt thank you so much! Flowers are not something I enjoy sculpting :D

+Apolline Charligny ma chaîne est assez récente, je l'ai débutée en septembre 2015 :)
Et merci!
beautiful work! May I ask what the blue substance that you sculpt the teacups in is?
+Alex Evans It's a two part silicone mold :)
Wow! I think you could do this amazing work with your eyes closed!!!!
How about a Lemon Meringue or a Baked Alaska?...Cherry Pie...Ice Cream in a waffle bowl...Pumpkin Pie...Pancakes with butter or fruit (Breakfast in North America and Dessert in Australia)...Canadians would recognize a Nanaimo Bar. I could go on forever but I'm positive you could make them easily.
Well done!!! You take this miniature food to a different level.
+saturnia22 thank you for your input :) basically you wish to see something sweet, am I right? ;)
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat Yes Please!!!!
Cute!!
+Christopher Blake Leaphart thank you :)
just amazing 💚💚💚👌 exceptional work :-) what type of material is that lace on the tray??? and where did you bought it?
+Vassoula Kazila it's a miniature paper doily, that one is from J.R. Kendall. You can find them on ebay.
Thanks a lot 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
what's the blue stuff you use to make a mould with ?
+Elizabeth Hair a two part silicone mould. It comes in different colors, but basically you mix two silicone putty, make a mould from whatever you want and the mould dries in about 10 minutes.
thanks alot will get some love your work Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat Mercie
I love it! What did you use for the rose stem?
+Firefox9799 I used a plastic coated wire (it's a kind of beading wire wrapped in plastic)
Loved the video! I was just wondering, how did you make the whipped cream on the drinks?
+LInk04871 I used air dry clay and a very small (real) pastry nozzle.
+Stephanie K. PetitPlat what size pipping tip? Do you add anything to the air dry clay?
