I have a question because I’m in process of lowering my k1500. And I saw that you did not cut the c notch in frame when you did the flip kit. Your the only one I see that not saying you have to do that . How is it working for you with no c-notch. In past video you said you felt it hitting after installing shocks. Was in hitting on the bed or the frame thank you
I do recommend getting a cnotch I have a 6” drop in the rear and I sometimes bottom out I’m going to get one eventually so I can lower the back more but if I’m going over bumps slow it doesn’t hit
Ok thank you because I was thinking instead of using the stock shackles to get 2” lift shackles to maybe not have to c-notch it. I’m in the process right now of doing the six inch drop and I came across your videos. Did you just do 3” lowering torsion keys in the front or something else to. Because that’s what I’m doing and I don’t want the back to sit lower and that’s another reason I may go with lift shackles to do basically like a 3/4 drop.
Yeah I did a 3” lowering key in front and a flip kit in the back without the shackles I’d say you could get away with not doing the c notch with just the flip kit I started bottoming out when I put on the belltech drop shocks but if I go slow over bumps I’m good
What tire size are you running? I have a 4” drop in the front ( stock keys that are flipped over and dimpled) and 4” in rear with shackles and hangers on my 97 z71, looking for options with tire size

I’m running 235 55 20 right now but I think personally 245 45 20 would’ve looked a lot better
