      Yes, this is not like a zoo at all. You'll have to visit Canada so you can go to this place :)

      Omg so excited for you!!! Bring like 10 bags of carrots lol for the drive through animal part. Sooo many animals to feed. Enjoy it and your cross Canada drive! I’ll be driving across the country too, to move out west in a few months, looking forward to it too.

    How amazing! Love your funny comment about the deer who wasn't moving out of the way, "He looks tired, he's got bags under his eyes!" 🤣They are all so beautiful -- some are majestic and many are so adorable! Love the 'chunky' cuties! In the cold, I can imagine that many of them would not have enough food without the visitors, though the chunky ones seem fine! 😂Love the one with the fancy hat in her horns. And it's wonderful to see the precious wild pigs. 💗 It's bittersweet for me to see all of them free, as humans are so cruel to many of their bretheren. May all living beings live free from the harm of humans as these ones do. Thanks for the wonderful glimpse into these sweet souls' lives. ❤ P.S. Such an amazing outro with perfect music for the magical, majestic and mysterous wolves. What a view! I wish the poor injured one didn't have to wait so long for the vet. If you find out how she/he is doing, please let me know! I'll be thinking of her and sending love. 💜

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it's so sad some pigs are there, and some are slaughtered :( But I'm so glad this wasn't a typical zoo, and the animals were living their best life :) We never heard anything more than the vet was going to check him out, hopefully he recovered well, fingers crossed.

    How is it that I'm from Quebec and I've never heard of this??? Absolutely awesome! 💗Not such a big fan of seeing bears though lol. Hope the injured wolf was ok. He seemed so vulnerable, protecting himself from the other wolves... but they also seemed to be concerned for him no? Did you find out more about him after the caretakers took care of him?

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Apparently it's been around for a long time, I didn't even hear about it until a few years ago. No, I never followed up on the injured wolf, hope he was ok.

      @@LiveLifeLori no in the videos I watched the animals jumped in the window lololol I laugh now but it actually scared me from these things. IDK if the people did something to provoke the animals and knowing the human race they probably did but idk

    I was very intrigued by this place at first, so I’ve watched all available videos on it. I have mixed feelings..it would be a very expensive trip from the southern US. The animals all seem very well cared for, but the constant feeding from visitors make it seem very”zoo like”. The injured wolf was very upsetting. I hope he/she was taken care of, and not just allowed to suffer. I do realize there is a hierarchy among them. Thank you for the video.

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I can see your point. I did do a lot of research too before deciding to go. But it's definitely not like a zoo. But agreed, you have to decide what's best for you.

    This is so cool! Thank you for the video. I do have a question... Are the wolves behind a fence? I mean can you go outside at night and he separated from them?

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi,
      Yes, technically the wolves are behind a fence, meaning you can't be near them. So the front of the house, you can walk around the streets, and the wolves can't come in the front yard since they're behind the fence. It's such an awesome place.

    • @mfoster978
      @mfoster978 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LiveLifeLori that's good lol I'm from the US and I'm tempted to check it out. I just got my passport and wanted to check out a few places in Canada since I've never been there and this sound like an awesome experience!

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mfoster978 Yes you HAVE to check it out! How long will you have in Canada? And which parts of Canada do you have time to visit? If only going to the province of Quebec, definitely see this Wolf Den hotel, Montreal, Quebec City and Mont Tremblant.

    • @mfoster978
      @mfoster978 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LiveLifeLori I really haven't figured out each area or how I can pull it off so I'm likely going to visit each area I want to visit on different trips. I own a semi truck so I can take vacation time for as long as I can afford it so I should be good. If I came down here for a week what area would you recommend?

    • @LiveLifeLori
      @LiveLifeLori  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@mfoster978 A week isn't even long enough to visit Quebec, but you could do it. I'd spend 1 night at wolf den, 1 night at Chateau Montebello (largest log cabin hotel in the world), then at least a night or two in Montreal. If you have time, Quebec City for a night or two. If you are brave and come up during winter, you should stay at the Ice Hotel in Quebec City. Then do another trip to east coast. Yeah might take you a few trips as there's lots to see. Nice you have the truck to allow you to explore. Have fun!
