Great update video! I'm glad they finally marked the parking stalls. A couple of times I got lost in the new covered parking lot because they all look the same. Before the solar covers, it was easier to find your parking spot because they had those old parking lot markers (with Looney Toons characters). One time I used Google Map timeline to find my way back to where I parked :P
6:28 It was the little booth where they would draw people as cartoons, If you remember they had all the Celebrities drawings on the side wall displayed and next to that was the vending machines like you said.
I was wondering if Knott’s was going to be the only one of the two SoCal Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks to suffer from the merger. At the very least, 2026 will make for a very good year for California coaster enthusiasts.

My first trip to Magic was in May 1976 I was seven years old and my Gramma saw an ad in the Salinas Newspaper so we packed up the station wagon and went.........The Revolution was being tested and the observation platform that is still standing under the loop was open for us to go in and I will never forget being underneath that thing and it going thru the loop and it is permanently etched in my brain lol........do you remember the man with the wooden leg that told stories about the gold rush why you waited in line?? There was huge parades that marched thru the park and the Trolls and Wizard.......man such fond memories when the park truly lived up to its name......MAGIC........Do you know the Wizards Castle is still there where the children's area is just to the right of the Giant carrots....they used to do a show there with the Trolls and the Wizard......The candy shop too had a show and you could sit there while they made the candy...........I really miss those days buddy
Wow! That's awesome! That's quite a few years before I was born. My earliest memories of Magic Mountain are from the mid/late '80s. But we also came by station wagon! I've heard about that viewing platform for Revolution being open back in the day and wish it still was. I don't remember the man with the wooden leg. But that's pretty awesome. Would be nice if the park brought back parades. And yeah you can see the Wizards Castle during Fright Fest when that back part is open. Pretty cool that it's still there.
Well, I keep hearing that SFMM is getting some kinda unique family coaster. So, 2026 in SoCal might just be Fast & Furious in terms of big thrills. But we'll see. Nothing will ever beat 2000-2002! In SoCal.
Viper needs to go and a record breaking new Vekoma put in its place! We need one of those Super Boomerangs! Yes to replacing the comfort collars on WCR with lap bars/seatbelts! I think the coaster needs to go faster and speed up the “pit stop” section. It would be wayyyy better with these improvements! I also want more concession booths throughout the park! Six Flags I hope you’re listening. More flat rides and a third water attraction. Honestly, if I was a billionaire I would make this park stellar!! The devil’s in the details all around the park. There would be awesome theming, landscaping and cleanliness…
My parents had a 1983 Chevy Caprice station wagon. It was the first car I drove after getting my permit. It represents lots of good times in my mind but truth be told it kind of sucked.
My girlfriend and my buddy were there same day, you filmed our car lol. Superman has been closed I haven’t had the chance to ride it and we’ve been there 5 times since early September is something wrong with it?

It would be Great if ALL of the Trim Brakes were removed from Revolution, and allow The Coaster to operate like it did way back in the day when I 1st rode the Coaster in 1978 after graduating from Marine Corps Bootcamp.🎢 And Revolution had a 5 Train Operation. That would explain for the Large Transfer Track Train Storage Area.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork Probably not. I can't begin to tell you just how fast the line moved, and the dispatch times between Trains were incredible. But unfortunately there was a computer malfunction on The Coaster in 1978, and it was reduced to a 4 Train operation with 1 Train remaining on The Transfer Track, which still wasn't bad. Even on slow days at the park, Revolution would operate with 3 Trains.
@AmericasCoasterNetwork Hear me out... I can already hear the grumbling. Retract Superman to have 4 skinny coasters. I still think that they are going to put up a new record-breaking coaster that is the first of its kind, along with several new flat rides.

What?? No new coaster at all?
Building and grading permits are denied all the time. The park will have to make adjustments to the project until it passes.
Sorry guys its not going to be a giga. Its anoter launch coaster...
A Giga would not fit in that space anyway.
If this was a GIGA it would need to wrap around the magic mountain mountain MORE BIGGER area which would be tough
Seems the budget is going towards making it fit Cedar Fair standards, and possibly to not compete with Cedar Points new coaster for 2025

Hi Chris, I think that since SF and CF has merged, we will see more improvements like the new map of the park
Hopefully! Makes sense with Knott's having a giant map too.
The Park Map is great!
Good they should take their time on the project
I'm curious if this is because of the merger or they now changed to another or bigger concept design...hmmm
Is it possible that either roller coaster or another stage could replace the former Golden Bear Theater
From all the markers, it looks to be a new coaster. But, whatever that had planned, is clearly delayed.
How long til that park map gets etched with graffiti?
Probably already is!
2026 seems more fitting. Americas 250th + Parks 55th.
