India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar shared a personal anecdote related to hijacking of an Indian plane during an event at Geneva. One of the members of the Indian diaspora residing in Switzerland asked Jaishankar about his take on the controversy regarding the latest Netflix series - IC-814: The Kandahar Hijack. In response to the question, the Minister said that he hasn't watched the series yet. He rather shared an anecdote as he said that, “Imagine being in the middle of a hijacking operation, only to discover that your own father is on the flight". He recounted, “In 1984, I was a young officer handling a major hijacking incident. My infant son was at home, and it was my scheduled day to feed him. I called my mother to let her know I couldn’t make it because of the crisis. To my shock, I learned that my father was on the hijacked flight.” For the unversed, seven members of All India Sikh Students Federation hijacked an Indian Airlines jetliner Indian Airlines Flight 421 on August 24, 1984. The hijacked plane carrying 74 people was flying from Delhi's Palam Airport to Srinagar Airport. The hijackers demanded the flight to be flown to the United States. Upon hijacking, the plane travelled to Lahore, then to Karachi and finally to Dubai, where the defence minister of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum negotiated the release of the passengers and the surrender of all hijackers to UAE authorities.

Exactly ! Many armymen had lost their lives to catch Hafiz Sayeed & the four others.
those five had a big role in Mumbai & other terrorist attacks, Delhi bombings ( 24 bombs in 12 months ).

What he didn’t mention, or perhaps he cannot mention is that, that hijack was actually orchestrated by his father Mr.Subramahnyam himself. It is well known in the intelligence circles that Mr.S wanted to survey the nuclear facilities in Kahuta, Pakistan. The doyen of Indian counterintelligence devised a very crafty plan to fly close to Kahuta without being suspected by Pakistani authorities and thus the hijack plan came up.

Remove taxes from life essential products. Mainly stop multiple taxes for middleclass. 30% of middle class people life is wasted in feeding poor people of india.
