The music (fabulous) and the video montage (brilliant) makes me feel nostalgic for the decade that without question contained the best years of my younger life.. I look back on that period, as many do, with a huge smile on my face..I suppose every generation has their best years..and we are all biased in this, our experience was the best! The stand out year for me was 1985..a fantastic summer with live aid staged right in the middle of it..and the music was a big part of that year, it created the sound track to everything that happened and that whole year felt like one long vacation, so much fun..my home town of Sheffield had a vibrant night life at the time, almost every night of the week there was a busy venue to visit..different venues, different music and fashion culture. Sadly nearly all these places have gone. The young people that we were back then grew older, the venues received make overs or closed down...walking around Sheffield in the present is sad.. 90 percent of the pubs/clubs I visited have gone. I have my memories, some well worn photos taken at the time, and a vinyl record collection that I treasure. My advice to anyone in the present living through their 'best years' would be..live it to the full! make your collection of pictures, video and music.. Document your time and the people you are experiencing it with, and the places you go, the years roll by so fast and we change rapidly as does the world around us. Nothing stays the same way for long...live, love and laugh as much as you can xx

For an 80s kid and many years as a DJ and guitarist since the age of 9, rest assured I've listened to TERRAbytes of music. I can honestly say this is an absolute genius musical production. Would have loved to see some David Bowie, Whitesnake, Steve Vai in this video but it's pretty much got the 80s covered 😃

I miss the 80's. Some of the best times of my life, but also some of the worst, lost all my friends to HIV related issues, including overdose. I was the only one of the group that survived. I didn't use intravenous drugs. 😓
What words can describe my feelings ? The music : sublime, the compilation: amazing and the 80´s: a fantastic decade !!! This wonderful time will never ever come back but it´s a great feeling to know: I was young in these times and I lived yes I really lived very intensive in the 80´s. To those who are too young for being in these decade I want to say : Try to live your life the best way you can and try to give to the time of today what it needs the most: More love, more warmth and much more together. We did it in the 80´s so you could do the same. And to Kalax: You did it again, great great tune absolutely digniefied for being a soundtrack of that time. Thank you so much
