I heard this yrs ago, from what I remember: A snow storm leaves an ailing father, his adult daughter & their hand, cut off from town, with a stranger in need of lodging. Is he who he claims to be or a husband wanted for the murder of his famous wife? (🎵Bom bom bah 🎶 😄)
I remember this old’un being pretty good. Yes a description & cast list offered by other channels is most helpful & appreciated. We realize a synop is not always available but it does seem the standard format of most of these type channels. Ty for the plays, info or not I’m grateful to ya! 👍🏼
Yes, I looked for the cast and broadcast date in the description. True fans of the genre take a few minutes to cut & paste; channels mainly concerned with views do the minimum.

I enjoyed the play and the storyline itself was interesting. I found the background effecta annoying, and at times the actors were clearly speaking from a sound stage. Thank you sharing this presentation.

I thought that was hilarious too! British humor is the best!
It's a good story, just right for a cold and rainy day.
I love Wales & the Welsh accent.
Love the elocution of the era. Wish people spoke like that today 😪. Great little story.
Right?! I absolutely love the politeness and manners from that era ❤ people are so crude and vulgar nowadays 😮😢
Precisely. They’re all road men now!
How different these old plays are - accents and dialogue
A different world
So glad to have found this again. Worth a listen.
Foreboding, little clues, a huge one on the horizon, The suspense is building…
Excellent, good story with good atmospherics.

Need a little introduction
James was a bit of an idiot wasnt he. If he knew he didnt do it he should have just gone to the police.
Excape from the farm and the people, police, the world
He said : I HAVE TO GET AWAY ! the woman at the farm is so scared,
but finally he confessed to her he is the husband to the dead woman.
James the husband is falling for her, the farm girl. But will he go and get the medicine for her father ?
"JAMES IS BACK WITH THE MEDICINE" NOW, her father is doing much, much, better.... Now, Tom fthe man hse supposedly killed his wife, well Tom automatically thinks he's guilty. !!! Now, she does not want James to leave......
What's next. ?] Back to the play !!!!!!!!!!!
That Tom is not very gallant !
When the BBC was great- before WOKE- and exhorbitant saleries.
Time to defund the BBC and cancel TV licencies.
Long over due.
Anyone agree?
Salaries. What has any future funding arrangements for the BBC got to do with the topic at hand? Stick with the Daily Mail online.
I agree. Paying for a TV licence is outrageous. I can't believe it's still enforced!
Before wokeness destroyed the BBC
Welsh hill farmers ! ? ? The father sounds like an old Etonian and the daughter
like a debutante . !
At a certain point it appears he is not local, but married a local girl and settled there. Also his daughter was sent away to be educated.
Be quiet.
The man has such an angry and aggressive voice, it's too hard on my hearing. Xxx
Yes, almost changed channel. Luckily, just one scene of that. Great story!
Thank you
