Chain guide if you are going to do off road riding. Did you do the seat hack and did you flip your axel around. 😉
The seat concepts is one piece. What is the axel flip??
@@AdventureTomekthe axel nut is in the left side from the factory. If you remove the axel and reinstall it so the nut is on the right side it works better to loosen the nut when you are out on the trail. You will be pushing down towards the ground instead of pulling up and lifting the bike off the ground.

Triple clamp moto or Upshift online make some kick ass steering dampers for it. Really helps in sand and babyheads.
Steering damper is definitely on the list.
Never had one on any of my bikes.
I’m not sure how I feel about the anti wobble kit to shore up instrument cluster. I think they might design it that way so it doesn’t put any stress on all the connection points. The instrument cluster as well as fairing, headlight plus whatever you hang of the bar across the top. My point is when you shore all this up with anti wobble kit, you effectively are gonna put extra stress on everything connected tightly because everything is plastic. That plastic will eventually break down faster from all the abuse and riding on rough terrain. I haven’t put one on mine but my friend has, so we shall see how they both hold up.
I’ll see how they hold up and give an update in a few months.
If I go to bike show I will ask someone at Yamaha and see what they say. It’s definitely better with shored up, I guess the headlight wobbles bad but we don’t see it while we’re riding. I would think if it stresses everything tightened up, it will be over many yrs of use and abuse. Some may not care as they probably upgrade bike over time so it would never be an issue.

I’m in Cheyenne and just retired. I have a 2021 T7 & 2014 Ultra Limited. Love to meet up sometime and drive some medium trails. I drive Northern Colorado & South east Wyoming, but am open to longer trips.
Might have a group trip this spring to the red feather lakes area.
As long as you've waited on that bike i say say go all out and get the rally suspenion, then you'll be able to really test it out. .
I’m thinking I’ll sell the 450 and put in towards more parts for the T7. So the suspension will probably happen at some point.
So are you maxed out on the factory adjustable pre-load? Is the max pre-load adjustment for a 165 lb rider?
I played around with it a bit, I’m just over 200lbs, didn’t really help much. Ended up with a Rally Raid Extreme Shock and nitrogen forks.
How about a helmet?

35 years ago I was in a bad accident on a bike. There’s no doubt I would have been dead if I hadn’t been wearing a full face helmet.
@@JLK7700 no worries, it’s easier to get a off bike shot and just leave the camera strapped to my helmet sometimes.
