Wild World's graphics are really quite good; it's just that the DS's resolution is so low that it doesn't do them justice. When emulated natively at higher resolutions, many DS games are surprisingly detailed (though texture detail is usually low because it simply isn't necessary on such low resolution screens). Wild World was also tiny (I believe it shipped on a 32MB cartridge) and even the Wii version was only a few hundred megs in size.

True fact:
When a bee stings you, their asses break off and they die. So that means the bees are the only entity in animal crossing that dies in a way.
What about cockroaches? Not sure about the other AC games, but in the original if your house got super dirty, you could find cockroaches. Stepping on them kills them, even showing their spirit fly after death!

Those are wasps that chase you and they can repeatedly sting you so they don't die
