    You're so pretty. You have beautiful skin too. I found your video while trying to figure out how to conceal my purple and puffy allergy eyes; but for over 40. You have literally nothing to conceal 🏆 lucky. I absolutely love how you do your makeup. I never really knew how & I'm definitely struggling as I'm getting older. Ps. The elf concealer is a staple for sure. Thanks for the video 😊 also pass on the blush. You legit don't need it at all. You're awesome thanks again

    Love how just a little bit of makeup can transfer us. Hourglass blush products 🙌🏼 I’ve yet to try Rare or KKW. Since returning bk to work & having to wear a mask 😷 I miss wearing lipstick. You look beautiful 💜💜🦋

    You should try facial yoga, it tones, circulates the blood and activates collagen in the skin. So you face looks healthier u don't need makeup! Try sushine too!

      Thanks! I have a facial yoga video on my channel that has almost 2 million views if you’d like to watch it. I’ll keep wearing makeup as I really like it. Also, I live in Southern California on the beach so I get plenty of sunshine, but thanks.

    Hi Trina, I posted a comment after viewing this video last night. It doesn’t seem to be here anymore. I’ll keep it short this time. I enjoy your tips, techniques, and product information. I’m over 60 and on a strict budget. Do you have a recommendation of which 3-4 products I should invest in until I’m able to purchase more?

    Do you know if that foundation is good for dry skin. I’m always getting cakiness so I’ve just been using a concealer

    Great tutorial. Thanks. Have you tried pink color corrector? I think you'd like it. It's a better shade for white people.

    I love makeup tutorials! You look beautiful! I thought the lilash went on at nighttime? I thought all lash lengthening serums did? No? The hourglass blush you used has highlighter in it, that’s the lit from within you’re talking about. I love hourglass! Their blushes and stand-alone highlighters are gorgeous! I’m oily also, I can’t wear foundation, it looks greasy in a matter of 30 minutes. I just use tinted spf.

    • @beautybeyond40
      @beautybeyond40  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I always use my lash serum as part of my morning routine. I am not sure that it matters....I am obsessed with everything Hourglass! They just launched a new primer called Vanish Airbrush Primer that is supposed to control oil and shine throughout the day. I have it and can't wait to try it. What tinted SPF do you love? I am loving Tower 28, Purlisse, Yensa, and IT Cosmetics.

    • @luv2garden132

      @Beauty Beyond 40 hey there! I figured the lash serum needed to work, like my tretinoin does, so I've always applied at night. Plus, the others all said to apply in the PM, sooo...lol I used to use it Cosmetics, but I found that their colors didn't match me. I don't want to try to mix a couple, so I went on a search. I also thought it was greasy after a few hours. I heard about Australian Gold, bought a tube, and have been in love since! I've tried quite a few others, MyChelle tinted sunscreen, but man! Did it ever oxidize on me! I had an EltaMD that was too "dewy" which equals greasy to me, and it oxidized too! I tried a DRMTLGY tinted SPF moisturizer; you can't get enough moisturizer to equal the number on the product label. It was also super greasy. There's more, but no need to get into them since I love Australian Gold! Australian Gold has never failed me, not to mention it's really cheap on Amazon! The light/medium shade melts into my skin easily. It's thicker also, so you can build somewhat. I don't have melasma. Have you ever tried the Hourglass foundation? I don't remember wh it's called, maybe they have mo than the 1 now? I loved it, maybe I'd be wearing it still, except I had to drive over 2 hours to find a stand alone Sephora that had the product so I could be color matched. It was Christmas time, and I got a Christmas hire that didn't know what she was doing. I didn't know until after I got home. When I put it on the next morning, I was orange. I wasn't going out wearing orange foundation...lol Good luck with the new primer! Hope you do a review on it!

      @@luv2garden132 I just edited my hourglass post using the vanish primer and foundation. the foundation shade i got this time did look a little orange on me and I called it out in my post lol. I'll post it later today on tiktok. I will have to try australian gold! regarding eyelash serum, not all of them say you have to apply at night. i am just in the habit of applying during the day. maybe it irritates some people's eyes so it's better for them at night? idk.

    • @luv2garden132
      @luv2garden132 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Beauty Beyond 40 oh no! That's funny! I hope you post it somewhere else other than tiktok? I don't have it...lol Over 60 here, is that a good excuse? My dad told me he got it because of his company and all that keeps popping up are women with large breasts...I thought I'd die laughing! It was hard to just chuckle 😃 I did look LiLash up, how to directions. You had me curious! It does say apply at night. If it bothers your eyes, then keep doing what you're doing! My lashes are shrinking using LiLash. My left eyelashes are going in the wrong direction, mascara looks goofy, no mascara looks goofier. I haven't used an eyelash curler in years, tossed it so long ago. I bought one today. I've been using LiLash at least a month, probably little more. Disappointed. Hey, where did you get the little brush? sponge? you used to apply your concealer? That thing is cool, I want one! Try Australian Gold! I can't wait to hear if it's a love or a fail!

    I've never been good at daily skin care, using quality makeup, etc. I'm 47. Had my children when I 20, 21, 23.
    The most recent make-up application tips I got was from my 25 year old daughter. Her make-up is amazing. But, clearly, I have to apply differently and I need a skin care regiment.
    I live in Madison, WI. I think I should consult someone at a store. I'm prepared to pay for quality products and/or less expensive ones that are recommended. I don't know where to start. I don't know what skin type I have, what color of concealer I should use. Anything! I don't walk around like a clown. I usually highlight my eyes. But, my age is showing here and there. I want to spend some time on "Me" and products that I love.
    I need some advice on how to get started. I remember, way back, that I'd attend a Mary Kay gathering once in a while, but the products were too expensive for us at that time.
    I also didn't like how my make-up looked after the party.
    I know there are people who work at larger stores in malls in the make-up department....but malls are not thriving and I want an experts advice.
    Perimenopause adds to all the confusion. Seeking advice on where and how to start, aside from standing in front of a wall of make-up at Walgreens feeling utterly confused.
    Sorry for lengthy description. I'm confused.

    Loved the video... I recently started skincare and make up from nicasia cosmetics... it's an esthetician that created her own line geared for women over 40! So far I have loved everything.. check her out sometime! After just a week I could see difference in eye lash serum! New baby lashes growing in!!! Really loved your video!

    I have been enjoying your channel although I have much more mature and aged skin issues so I cannot use the same makeup products that you use. And my skin does not do well with so many layers of product.
    I had so few lines in my 40s and now my skin at 58 yo looks like a dried mud puddle. Less is more for me now.
