those storm cloud time lapses looked fantastic ... mother nature at her finest. your videographic skills are next level , I think you will find Wangi Wangi is pronounced wone-gee wone-gee , cheers Garry
😂 I did see the little fish as well, but only after the camera was in the water. They were beautiful and quite a few of the spread over the rock ledge.
Yep that video took me away for it's duration. Almost like meditation. That drone footage and the control that you have over it, is amazing. The thing with drones is that you can get to places above the earth that even a helicopter would struggle with and places no other aeronautical vehicle could go. Great stuff Jason. Always appreciate your great videos and insight into your adventurous lifestyle. Cheers, Sean.
Thanks Sean! I'm gradually getting more confident to push the drone into more interesting spots. You're right, it's a great way to get into places that otherwise would be impossible.
Another great video, thank you, the drone gives us fantastic views of everything that you don’t see when driving around, we didn’t notice the octopus until you pointed it out.. and we laughed when you patted the random dog and then told him to beat it! Just love your sense of humour.. hope your arm is mending well 🤞
😂 thanks! The octopus was actually right in the surface when I was first looking in the pool. Amazing how the camoflauge themselves 😁 The arms doing well. Hopefully the x-rays come up clear next week!
Loved the video this morning, Jason. As always, great footage and interesting, sometimes funny commentary. Looking forward to the next chapter. Cheers Helen
Thank you for taking us back to these places. Some of us might have seen these places but never from a drone. What a lovely way to investigate these places. I'm glad you're enjoying flying the drone. (That's now on my bucket list). Thank you once again. I'm enjoying your journey.
Awesome drone footage! The beaches look so spectacular from the sky! I was just in Wangi the other day watching the sunset. It’s a beautiful place. Nice spot to swim there too at the water near the park.
Fantastic video, loving the drone footage 😁I just got home from Forster / Tuncurry, I thought I spotted your van a couple of times down at the breakwall , unfortunately I was on the other side of, the bridge, otherwise I would have said hello. I absolutely love that area , good luck with the arm 😊
Nice! My parents lived up there for several years and it took me quiet a few years to get down to Elizabeth Beach. Once I found Shelly Beach though, I was always there 😁
Nice part of the country and some nice footage too, thanks Jason. Saw you struggling with the cling wrap. It turns out I've been looking for a solution for cling and baking paper for our camper trailer and so I've come across "Cling Wrap Dispenser with Cutter" on ebay - maybe useful for you too?
Thanks!😁 That's actually a really old roll of cling wrap. I normally buy the generic brand stuff and find it is much easier to use...but less sticky 😂 I might have a look at one of those cutters. Ive seen the before. Just need to fit it in somewhere as I don't like the look of them to have it insight.
What a terrific lifestyle if you can make it work. While I'm not going to get rid of my 80 Series LandCruiser that's been setup for touring, you've made me check out vans in the classified ads that's for sure. 😁 I've particularly been looking at current model Toyota HiAce SLWB High Top vans. 😁
Hi Jason , Arthur loved his shout out 🙌🏻 you have made his day. So good to run into you on your travels , keep living the dream 😀 Hubby’s name is linden 😉 , have a great day 😊 Chris
Watched this morning but couldn't comment. If you're back around Tuncurry at anytime do you mind including a bit of footage of the town? It looks lovely and a bit like a small version of Gold Coast towns.
What would you like to see? An overview of the main street? I can certainly do that. There's a lot of shops and things in the area. Pretty much got everything you need.
It's a DJI Neo. Only small and cheap. Picture quality isn't the best compared to the next model up but it does fly by itself which is a big plus for me.
Yeah, I know! I'd much rather be continuing north, though if I'm going to go see my friends in Victoria, I'd better go in summer! As for paragliding....I accept the risk. Either that or mountain biking will take me out....or a snake will get me in the bush. It's all reward versus risk and paragliding is pretty high reward!😊
Loved the drone footage over the lake and birds, plus those misty mornings 😊 Re cling wrap - I was given some of those beeswax wraps for good storage - totally a game changer when camping. Seem to keep food fresher than cling wrap too. Thanks again Jason for your quality videos, really look forward to Wed’s and Sat’s now 😊

Thank you, Garry!
The sad part is I've already filmed at Wangi Wangi....not sure how many times I've said it wrong again 😂
2:20 You were focusing on the 🐙 while I was drawn to that little bright colour fish 😄
Me too 😊

Great video! Had a good laugh at the pronunciation of Wangi Wangi 😂
😂 unfortunately I've already filmed for the next video.....
unless you are from the area unfortunately lots of people pronounce it the same way.

Thanks Helen!😊
Seems both times I've recently been in that area, the weather hasn't been the best. Still got some good shots though 😁

Thanks Jo 😊
Some interesting parts of the coast there that you'd not normally get to see 😁
Every video I've seen of this place is just stunning, it's definitely on my bucket list now.
Just avoid school holidays if you can! The traffic jams will turn you off it real quickly.
Gotta love a good time lapse.
There were some cool cloud fronts moving across!😁
Hi Jason, nice footage! It's pronounced Won-jee Won-jee - nice part of the world eh!
Thanks Julia! I knew I was saying it wrong 😂
Be prepared for the next video to have more mispronunciation 🙄
Awesome drone footage! The beaches look so spectacular from the sky! I was just in Wangi the other day watching the sunset. It’s a beautiful place. Nice spot to swim there too at the water near the park.
Thanks Sally. I really enjoyed that drone footage, particularly around Bennetts Head.
I actually went for a swim at Wangi 😂
Beautiful photography. Bennett's Head Lookout was lovely. 👍🌊🌊🌊🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
So good I showed it twice 😂
Thanks Robyn.
Thanks Jeanie. Yeah, that was most likely me. A pretty good and relatively quiet spot there 😁
Good Morning Jason. Have a lovely rest of the week
😊 thanks mate! You too 👍
Lovely video top spot looking forward to seeing Wangi Wangi glad you decided to visit we will see what you think 😊
It was a nice peaceful place! Sat down at the park for a while and went for a swim. Even had warm water 😂
@ yes the water is always warmer in the lake it’s a top spot if you like fishing and sailing 😊
Great stuff. Videos getting better all the time.
Thanks. A lot of dronage in that one!😂
Another great Video, Foster / Tuncurry really looks like a great place. We used to go to Elizabeth Beach for Holidays when I was a kid! Thanks Jason!!
Nice! My parents lived up there for several years and it took me quiet a few years to get down to Elizabeth Beach. Once I found Shelly Beach though, I was always there 😁

😂 Nice! I think vans are the best compromise for comfort and flexibility. I really like this size (6m long) and being able to park almost anywhere.
Hi Jason , Arthur loved his shout out 🙌🏻 you have made his day.

Hubby’s name is linden 😉 , have a great day 😊
Chris
Thanks Chris! Apologize to Linden for me... remembering 2 names is about my limit 😂

@MakingStuffGoingPlaces Yup...a lap of the main lol
Great video's, may I ask what drone you r using. It jas amazing footage.
It's a DJI Neo. Only small and cheap. Picture quality isn't the best compared to the next model up but it does fly by itself which is a big plus for me.
My husband’s mum lives in Forster she might have known your parents. What was your surname?
My parents were actually up closer to Black Head, not in Forster itself. 😊
@ ok thank you. I really enjoy your videos
It's pronounced Wonji Wonji.
Thanks Raymond!😊
You’re heading in the wrong direction … BTW I’ll put you in touch with my mate who can tell you how many of his friends have died paragliding …
Yeah, I know! I'd much rather be continuing north, though if I'm going to go see my friends in Victoria, I'd better go in summer!

@Kokodagal2 thanks! All those birds landed just as I was flying the drone out...lucky score.
