Salam o Alaikom, mouth watering food I live in Southern California unfortunately we don’t have these kind of halal restaurants, sometimes I travel 50-100 miles to eat halal burgers or shawarmas. You guys are lucky with so many halal choices enjoy.
I love MyLahore! Totally agree with you about Muhgli, I thought it was very expensive for small portions and staff were rude. Thanks for recommending Syria Sweets, I had no idea it was there 👍
Jaffas. Yes bro you went. That was one of my favourite places. Very affordable. Will need to try Ziya Grill, love curry on the bone. MyLahore is a must visit everytime I go Manchester.. Only place who do the brown rice. We call them saluney chawal lol. Awesome video, bought lots of memories back
I come from an East Asian background, and I'm yet to be familiar with these cuisines. Thankfully, my friend (Pakistani) knows these places and took me there to try more authentic food. Thanks to him, he knows every places, and it suits his recommendation. Although I have been to very few, like four places, here is my recommendation: 1) Walnut Persian. If Iranian cuisine lovers. Persian food is my favourite. 2) Jaffa Restaurant. Best known for fatayer 13:55, 14:50. I love the spicy lamb fatayer. I always enjoy going there and ordering the same thing every time. I have to try a pizza the next time I go. 3) Hadramout. For Yemeni dish lovers. It's beautifully decorated inside. This place is hidden from the main street and might be hard to find. Curry Mile is very diverse - Turkish, Persian, Greek, Afghan, Indian, Arabic and so on! Not just restaurants, there are shish bars too where you can relax with friends. The problem is getting around with a vehicle and finding a parking place. I need to try out more places in Curry Mile rather than be sticky to three of my favourites. 12:58 I have to try shawarma at Today Restaurant (now Today Fresh Shawarma) next time.
I absolutely adore some of the restaurants around this part of Wilmslow Road. Lived down in Didsbury and cycled up and down to oxford road station every morning/evening to and from work. The smells when going past here at 6-8pm of an evening are to die for.
Don’t usually comment but I watch all your videos but gotta say Well done on this love your passion can see it each time you review something! Hope to see many more brother!👍🏼
Such a great video. Curry mile is my favourite place to eat in Manchester and you got a lot of the great spots ! Love watching these videos over lockdown to plan where I need to go next!
When I lived in the city centre 10 years back I used to go to Jaffa every Sunday evening. Mixed grill kebab, small mixed meze with side of fries every time. The guys in the kitchen are absolute grafters! Miss that place...
Go to curry mile every week but hubby is too scared to try these places. Thanks for the video, will give this a go now! Incidently try Al-madina for their lamb karahi, best Shawarma for their shawarma, find it better then today restaurant. Thanks again.
Sick video! If you do a review for Jaffa again go for their mixed mezze starters ,mixed grill and mix shawarma it’s amazing definitely the best thing there along side the fatayer
Loved it.. I agree completely!! Jilanis has been my go to for a while and prices are very decent. Yet to try Jaffas.. I can’t wait. Glad you enjoyed the curry in my Lahore cos it’s my absolute favourite thing on the menu strangely!
great video, i'm a new subscriber and love your channel. I'm here from Latif's Inspired channel. I have actually been to Kolhapur and tried the Kolhapuri Chicken curry and loved it. My wife is Indian and comes from Satara just north of Kolhapur.
Nostalgic, haven't been home in years but remember today restaurant being a staple of late night munches - great vid, I also agree with the places you don't recommend!
