Hello, Yes our device works Worldwide as long as you are within GSM cell coverage. If the boat goes to far out it might lose cellular coverage and not work until it is within range of the GSM towers again.
Hi Tony, The best places to put the device are where it isnt enclosed by metal or really thick concrete. In a car we suggest under the passengers seat or if under the car on a flat horizonal area not inside a cove (metal on three sides).

How far can these things track?
These are GPS trackers, as long as the device is within GSM/LTE cell coverage it can track worldwide regardless of the carrier.
The menu functions are very non-intuitive and not at all user friendly. It's a complete mess.
all of the tracki videos always say where NOT to put it but never WHERE to put it for best reception.
