I remember hearing Jonah say he took the minimum of $60k to be in the movie. He said he would’ve paid them if he had to. That’s how bad he wanted to be in the movie.

I think jonah kinda gets underrated for being the great actor he's been. He's had some incredibly great and even iconic movies. Superbad, Moneyball, 21 Jump Street, Wolf of Wall Street

For those who dont think Jonah Hill is a serious actor watch that mini series called Maniac he plays someone with depression in it and its riveting,he is a brilliant actor.

What great is the statement about Jonah's being best improve actor, that's what kindness is. People dishing Jonah for wieght issues or whatever is so low. When will people grow up. This video has hopefully helped Jonah in that it validated him further as an actor but also maybe dispelled the previous negative comments from the other outside sources from having a impact on Jonah's psyche. Kudos to this video for their peer support of Jonah 🤗

Also how do you know I've even read the other comments? It's the first time I've ever seen the video and I'm glad I did. Jona Hill is brilliant and it's incredibly sad to see his peers looking down on him and treating him with such disrespect for really no reason other than that they can. I think in the face of such cruelty, it's fantastic to see the community on TH-cam share feelings of support with him.

I don’t get why so many people in Hollywood are rude to Jonah during appearances or interviews. He’s easily one of the most underrated and incredible actors in Hollywood
He's full of himself. When he was like 20ish he tried to get the "McLoven" guy fired from a movie because he "didn't like him." If I was given a part in a Hollywood movie in my 20's I would be grateful and humble. Never in a million years would I be so full of myself that I thought I'd had the right to get someone fired.

I think for this role he was a little bit too OTT. It worked for the film but I think the level of difficulty didn't really match up to the other work from actors at the top that year.

I didn't think much of Hill until I saw him in this movie. Now I think he's great. Fav line from the movie is his to Leo's character: "I think you might have a drug problem," lol. Understatement of the year.

From America's darling Mr DiCaprio. who takes his very good work as an actor very seriously And portrays his characters his roles, becomes them, very well.. that is some serious praise and recognition! I mean the man truly has to be good and have something special for him to say something like that. I know I have no earthly deserved reason to, but I'm choked up I feel proud for him! and I know he must seriously appreciate that. Or at least if I were him I would. And Jonah Hill is truly more than good. he earns it especially with all the flack he does catch and all and I guess it comes with the territory in the comedy realm that he dwells in and you know basically makes fun of his own shortcomings and insecurities, weaknesses, and in a way flips them into his strength. while also playing to his skills and strengths as an improv actor and knowing the timing and the subject matter, those genuine relatable humble and hilarious human moments, the idiosyncrasies the awkwardnesses that make people laugh. Scorsese, DiCaprio, Hill, and The list goes on, it must have been like working with a cast and crew of Masters and geniuses in their own rights and fields
