I can't really give you an exact time for kneading as I've not made this by hand. Depending on the technique between 7-10 minutes. What I can tell you is ....you are looking for is a really smooth, soft and supple dough. Its gonna have stretch and you should kinda feel the butter with your hands once it's all incorporated. I would use the slap and fold method once the dough does not look shaggy. To knead via slap and fold, pick the dough up by the side, slap the front of it back down onto your work surface, fold the back half of the dough over the top, give the dough a quarter turn, and repeat.
