Beautiful cross-picking!! A piece of advice, if I may: Use more arm muscles and less wrist movement in your right hand. Repetitious wrist movement will, eventually trigger Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Been teaching guitar for almost 50 years now, and know whereof I speak. For me, it was building jet engines that led to nine hand surgeries (including two Carpal Tunnel Release surgeries), but at least I didn't exacerbate the issues with my guitar teaching and playing. Almost every player I know that relies on their wrist ends up getting surgery to correct it. -Just hoping you'll play as long as possible!
@@drakeshelburnCarrivick just did some workshops at Bryan Sutton’s camp with Strings, Hartman, Workman, and Eldridge. Maybe he’s got some advice for them, too.
@@Syncroschannel: No, and it doesn't really matter. I know the mechanics involved in guitar playing and have been playing and teaching for 50 years. You?
That’s a super interesting way to play Salt Creek. Love it!

Wow, this new generation of players - supercharged chops that even Doc or Tony Rice would stop to listen...
