I truly and honestly feel like this song was written for me!!!!! I have faced some tremendous battles over the last 6 years, and God has given me promises that have not yet been fulfilled. Just yesterday, after all I have fought for, all the work and time and commitment to God, I felt like He gave up on me. I wanted to give up on me too. This song popped up as a notification on my phone as a recommend song on TH-cam and I CANNOT stop crying and listening. Seriously...EVERY SINGLE WORD. Truly, God is SO good! He knows.

I love this song. My bf and I have gone through some really difficult things that just really created a heavy weight on me. And sometimes it was just really hard to believe that it would ever end. To keep on hoping was difficult. But I just feel like this song was really just speaking to me and my love. And I'm sure that I will need to come back to this song in the future to be a reminder to me in difficult times to just keep on hoping.
@JessicaKabel ya I know how hard it is when you keep on forgiving someone over and over for the same mistakes. It's easy to get bitter and feel that they're just taking your forgiveness for granted.
I remember telling my boyfriend how that was, how I felt, and how hard it was for me whenever he would slip up and make that mistake again and again. I told him how it hurt me so deeply to the core. I think having that conversation with him and just making him understand what I was going through was what really changed things for him.
I saw more effort in him to change and I knew that he was sincere. I believe God also gave me the strength to get through it with him, to keep loving him even when he slipped up again. I will always believe that it was the love of God and His forgiveness and grace and not so much my own that shown through in that time for him. I swear I could not have gotten through it without God's help.
I don't know what your going through with you and your husband but I pray that God will give you the strength like He gave me in my hard time with my bf. I pray that God will also give you peace. Let this song be light of hope for you. Know that God is with you and He will bring you through to the end. You'll get there. Just keep on hoping ❤️🙏🏼

These past few nights, I was crying my heart out and praying. I was down and thought was hitting rock bottom, but I wasn't losing hope cause I know God got my back. While I was looking for a song to set as background for something I was editing, I've encountered this song and heard the chorus. I hurried and listened to the whole song and then it hit me, He was telling me something with this song. Surely He's making me feel that I should never lose hope nor give up 'cause He got my back.
