Hey Mrs S&C. Is everything ok? Are you alright? Just checking cos it is almost 2pm here and no video today. You havent posted this late before. Im choosing to believe you have just forgotten to post or are posting at a different time to see if you get more views??? I really hope all is well.
@@katelillo1932 Agreed! I think it was Day 47 of year 1 the Mrs forgot to up load it and didn’t realise for a few months. I am choosing to believe that is the case now! It better be the case now💜💜
Hey! I’m good - just been out of pocket for a few days doing some camping. I had the video scheduled to post yesterday, I thought, but it appears not. 😂 Up soon! ❤️
To start my comment... You kinda broke my heart with your announcement that you are not the center of the world :( You most absolutely and certainly are!!!! You keep things REAL and are straight up honest and open about everything in the soaping world, thus making you the center of OUR WORLD... well, to me anyways. This soap is so mouth watering delicious looking!!! Oh I want some so bad!!!! I love how you take the time to teach us so much about the very important details involving soap making, the oils, their properties, SAP values, substituting, and all the jazz. Plus, you always do your thing!! LOVE you and all your work, and I appreciate everything you do!! Thank you!!
As always your video is SPOT ON. When I'm asked questions as to why, what, how etc I find myself giving a brief explanation and recommending your videos for further visual. Thank you!!!! Oh and the recipe comp video will be a WINNER!!
I'm excited about the idea of one day needing to order oil in drums, that will be so fun! Soaper's Choice is definitely the cheapest right now, but I've purchased oils from Costco as well, and Walmart when I needed something fast
I don't like cosmetic oils for cosmetics! I feel like I'm ripping my customers off! If I say almond oil, I mean almond oil. Not almond oil and some cheaper oils to fill in! I make high end lotions, scrubs, masks, etc. Your putting them on your body and in my products your face! So in my opinion your paying for top quality. Now in soap, me. Maybe, but I personally don't. I hate Wholesale Supply Plus, since Debbie left, they have screwed up every single order I have ordered. Every single time broken, leaking, missing, you name it it's happened! I use Soapers Choice, they are out of Chicago, IL. They are straight above me, I'm in western Tennessee. If I order on Monday, it's here at 8:30 am on Wednesday. The order is always right and no damage! Love them. Their prices are great and for me the shipping isn't bad. For 380 pounds, I pay about 75$ and like I said, bam it's here quick! That's enough of my gripping, lol! Thanks for going over the details! Jill
First, those are super cute soaps. Second, I have been making MP for 3 years and saving up to get a shed to make CP. Next, I am doing all the research that I can before I start but I still don't have any idea what INS is. I have learned so much from you and I can't thank you enough
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, and keeping it real! I started following you around this time last year, and what a pleasure it has been; I'm excited for what comes next. (My notepad and pen are ready)

Super helpful info, so THANK YOU! also wondering if you have any experience or thoughts on Essential Depot as a supplier? Also, also...after my panic attack last night about my dish soap cracking a few minutes after pour, I went and checked again before I went to bed and the cracks were mostly resealed. That's cool! And I learned a new thing about how soap heats and swells after a pour! I'm still going to soap at a lower temp next time though. Thanks again for that advice! Loving this channel and the fact that you actually teach meaningful things about soaping and also have some fun with it all too. So fun watching the watermelon pour behind all the chart chat. Cute summer soap!
I used essential depot for a hot minute a few years ago and ultimately ended up canceling my subscription. I don’t think it was anything they did, I was in the process of scaling up to giant drums of oils and no longer needed them. People love their drying racks!
I'm that new guy on the block. Your Channel is great. The watermelon soap looks great! When you run out of things to talk about, how about something in the EO,FO as far as How much to use. I'm lost because I get information in soapcalc and bramble berry Plus if you didn't buy the EO from Bramble Berry, them, it's not in the list. When I'm trying to make a blend of 3 EO's. the numbers are so far apart. I don't know who's right. hope this makes sense. Just a thought. Thanks!
Thank you for all of the great information- such fascinating stuff! I live like 2 miles from Brambleberry and was buying everything from them (buy local, sigh) for a while even though I still had to pay shipping. I was flabbergasted when I checked out WSP and am excited to check out Soaper's Choice. I've been soaping for about a year and am all-in, trying to get to 400 bars before opening shop. Your channel and your wonderful products help me so much!
Don't use WSP, unless you want broken, leaking, wrong product and month long waits! Since Debbie, the original owner retired, the whole business has gone to ....! I won't even go into customer service! Use Soapers Choice, they are excellent! I order from Bramble Berry quite frequently and never have issues with shipping. I order a lot of products and I pay between 9$-21$ and it is here in 5 days. I live clear across the country! So I don't know why yours is so high? I found that interesting. Jill
@@waynegross2113 Hi Jill, thank you for the info! I am certainly going to be trying Soaper's Choice for my next order. I have spoken with Brambleberry customer service a few times and they assure me that they'll open up for "will call" pickup orders, "once the pandemic crisis is over..." Yeah, anyway. We pay the same for shipping (minimum $8.50, but I've paid as much as $90 for large orders), but my orders were usually delivered 24-48 hours from the time the order was finalized, and the orders of course packed so thoughtfully as to be able to withstand cross country shipping. Still, I'd rather save the extra packaging and do a pickup. I totally swooned when Soap & Clay's checkout offered to let me pickup my order even though it'd be a three hour drive one way, and then shipping was still cheaper than BB. I haven't had much issue with WSP, except for forgetting what I ordered because of the extended lead times. 😂 Take care and happy soaping!!! Julie
I’m in Hawaii and it seems like everything costs me an arm and a leg to have delivered. Therefore… Costco AND Sams are both my very good oil friends atm.

Okay so I loved this. The info about cosmetic vs food grade oils was super useful. I've seen listings for each and I was always confused. I've also never seen that sub chart from Brambleberry. I've mostly sort of pieced out a lot of that info myself but it's handy nevertheless! Have you used New Directions Aromatics? I've bought some oils from them and they seem to be a reasonably priced option for people who can't justify the bulk amounts required by Soaper's Choice but I have not done an in depth cost analysis...
