I would very much like to visit Bida and Minna once more. I remember those days when we took the train back to Lagos in a 27-hour journey

Bigwillz, Goodday Brodaly & thank you for all your videos,
It is true in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, Trucks has parking Lot along every motor way. As a trucker you are not allowed to drive more than 4.5 hours without a break. The driver(s) have to park for the next 45 mins before continue driving for the next 4.5hrs for the day, except they are 2 Drivers in the same truck...

It looks like the trailer drivers prefer to park on the road, and it's so annoying. Sometimes there are spaces all around but they still park by the road. Anyway if parks can be made as you have said and the government enforce the trailer drivers to park in it for a fee then it will be nice.

Nigerian leaders are bizarre. They travel to countries like the US and see "truck stops" yet they decide to stifle Nigeria by not implementing simple improvements like truck stops. There are so many things Nigerian leaders are exposed to, yet they choose not to implement them in Nigeria. Bizarre...

The difference between the western world and nigeria is that you can not have such bad roads and still have a government. Government are ask to resign, voted out of office for way, way less things here than such bad roads in a country. Nigeria does not have a government, what we call government in Nigeria is a disgrace to the word "government" and a disgrace to all working government around the world. Not until the 99.5 percent Road users in nigeria stop government officials from flying within Nigeria and use the roads like everyone else the roads are not going to get the attentions needed.. Like you rightly said, the kidnapping is as a result of lack of infrastructures and the bad roads.... Trailers should not be allowed to just park on a federal highway, even local govt roads for that matter. In a sane and working country, government or in partnership with private organisations would build trailers parks, either close to a petrol station or with a petrol station in it. You will not find a trailer on British roads in the day time nor would they park on the roadside either. But the biggest evil in Nigeria is actually the fuel subsidy. Federal government is looking for 2.5trn to subsidies fuel in Nigeria for the rich. 2.5trn is enough to construct 8 lagos lbadan expressway. Fuel subsidy is more beneficial to people that can afford two, three, four, five cars not the average Nigerian with a car. 2.5trn is enough to build world class roads across Nigeria that would in turn reduce cost of food stuff, reduce cost of travelling, improve travelling and tourism etc. 2.5trn is enough to buy world class farming machines that would improve food production, and cheaper food for both Nigerians and for export. Instead, the plc that's call Nigeria choses to burn it regularly on fuel subsidy. What use is cars if you don't have decent roads to drive them? Nice drive mate, enjoyed it but for some bad parts of the road. Thank you.

Why why why??? Why on earth do we allow bike men (Okadas) to be riding against traffic??
I thought Buhari was supposed to fight corruption???
You build an express way and these twats would still be riding against traffic!!
    Can’t someone do something???
Our road culture is abysmal and disheartening!
