포르테피아노 너무 아름답다. 베토벤 시절 Forte Pedal Action 하고, 지금 Grand Piano Pedal Action 하고 달라서, 그걸 해석을 잘해야 한다고 들었는데, 베토벤이 작곡한 그 피아노로 듣는게 가장 좋은 것이 아닐까. 포르테피아노 독주회도 그래서 들어가 볼 만 하다.
You can hear every intensity & feel every insanity! On modern pianos Beethoven becomes dumbed down. He sounds rather numbed out & boring, like you’re on drugs & simply it’s not a natural sound, everything is degraded & downgraded from aspects of wood tone sound quality. That’s why classical music has become drastically depreciated! It’s all because Beethoven simply cannot shine on these modern pianos, his music requires deep attention & it becomes boring when you have to go out of your way as a listener only to bypass the null sounds of the modern age piano, just so you can get to reach the depths of the composition & hear first hand the intentions of the composer’s raw emotions in it. But you still cannot get a good picture, the listener can try all he might, he still will only get remnants of his own imagination, everything is still degraded, although he is at least now closer to the truth as a listener. But you don’t have to do any of that on a fortepiano! All you have to do is listen & overtime you will start to automatically connect with the music without realizing it. If you can tell, now you’re able to hear everything in the music, every emotions, every intentions, it’s like a light has sparked in your brain & a new fire has become burned in your soul! You feel the power of the music for the very first time in your life! Now this is where Beethoven truly shines & becomes appreciated! If modern pianos didn’t degrade in sound quality & not have became merely such a commodity, Beethoven & all of his contemporaries would still live among the top of our modern day music genre. These past legends will no longer become known as only a vintage composer known famously to man & become degraded overtime, possibly even extinct in the far future who knows? But rather they’d become a master always looked upon every so now & then. When our current age of music becomes lost at different points of time, they will always know to go & look back at Beethoven, because now Beethoven would instead become a idol for everyone who first gets into music, it will be looked upon that it was all because of Beethoven! But that is widely not the case now & Beethoven has only become a preference for elderly people! I do blame almost all of that on the modern piano that has to the scene only to ruin classical composers altogether & the connection of the past classical composers have far become disconnected, that only after a certain amount of time they’ve now become degraded & vintage that only elderly people enjoy. This is what the remnants of it are left in our time & it will only get worst from here.

One of the issues with the modern piano is the dull, equal temperament tuning. A whole dimension of Beethoven's music is lost when played in equal temperament.
